Talking Funny/cute things they do

I thought it would be fun to share stories of the things our dogs do that make us laugh or are just adorable.
Gus hides his treats but he is really bad at it! He puts the treat in the corner of the couch, then puts his head down and pushes invisible dirt over it again and again. He does this for a few minutes then stands back to check out his work. The treat is in plain sight but he seems very pleased with himself. It cracks me up every time.

When Yoda gets really excited about something, he'll do about three laps around the coffee table at full speed, then he'll plop down on a pillow somewhere and wait for something else to happen.

What funny little people our dogs are. When Hallie gets excited she will take whatever she is chewing on and throw it as far as she can, all the while shaking her butt. I have always said she is a great dancer Simon likes to have his food thrown across the floor so he can chase it, he gets so proud when he "catches" a piece of food.

Sebastian plays with his food. He knocks his Eukanuba kibble out of his bowl and hits it with his paws and then jumps on it, backs up, jumps again and finally he eats each piece, it is sooo funny watching him. We love our baby so much! :-)

One of the funniest things that has happened TODAY was:

Sandy was carrying around her Easter greenie. Tia was following her, watching her like a hawk. Sandy wasn't letting that greenie go for anything. UNTIL I called her to come into the garage with me. They both come trotting down the hall, Sandy had miraculously dropped her greenie. All of the sudden, you see Tia look at Sandy, look at me, look back down the hall, then HAUL BUTT to the living room the retrieve the dropped greenie. I swear you could hear her gloating!

Mocha is so funny.. she loves to chase my cat around and also my grandmothers Yorkie who is 11 lbs and about 3 times Mocha's size.. The cat and other Yorkie are scared of her... I love that she's probably all of 2 lbs and acts like she's a huge dog.. Also right now, shes in her crate snoring and it sounds SOOOOO cute.. I love my cutie pie so much

funny thing, Nemo always does is, when I give them all ( 3 dogs) Simba & Nala and him a treat. he will take his run and hide it , then will come and take Nala's treat run and hide it. Simba will run away from him and go to a corner to hide from Nemo to finish eating his treat and then out of no where here comes Nemo, he will take his paw stick it in Simba's mouth then He will stick his head in Simba's mouth and run with the treat. Simba will seat there a give me the funniest look. as if he is saying what the heck, is wrong with this little guy.Now this is Funny mind you that Nala is 125lbs (maybe more) Simba is about 140lbs. ( Rottweilers) Nemo is a little less than 2lbs right now. He has no fear. he rules this pack. I love to seat there and watch him play with them. I specially love the fact that when Simba & Nala play with him they raise their paws tryin not to step on him. I always tell them to be careful and all playtime is supervise of course ! but I never told them to walk that way that alone is pretty funny. maybe am crazy about my fur babies but I can seat for hours watching them playing

Reagan loves to chase the cats and I don't think she completely understands that since they aren't dogs they don't always play like dogs. Well to tell you the truth I don't know if she completely understands that they aren't dogs, or maybe its that she thinks she's a cat. Anyway my biggest cat, Chandler who is the biggest scaredy cat, has finally learned that Reagan isn't so bad and will occasionally play with her. Reagan used to run them off but has lately seen the two cats playing together pawing at one another and such and now she is starting to play like a cat. When Chandler is on the floor he'll kind of paw at her and she'll think for a second and paw a little bit at him. This usually only lasts a about a minute or so cause Reagan can't stand it she starts barking and chasing again.

Honestly though I think the cutest thing that yorkies do is the way they prance around like "look at me, I'm soooo pretty..." Everytime I see Reagan walking like she's something I have to smile.

Hailey has this thing where she takes whatever toy she chooses and climbs up on the couch with it. Then she puts it in fron tof her, lays down and starts to push it off the couch with her nose. Once it falls she looks at me and expects me to pick it up. Then she does it all over again. She will do it as many times as i will pick it up!! It is so cute (to me at least!!!).

Each night when we get into bed, Romeo climbs in between me and his daddy, pushes us with his nose to each side of the bed, then gets in the middle and digs in the sheets until they are appropriately placed, he then lays down and howls until we both snuggle up next to him....he's got it all figured out!!!

Chachi is really cute when he gets a little jealous streak in him. If my husband gives Jewels our new puppy some attention Chachi will bark and get in front of Jewels. He has to show hes still top dog!!

Oh yea, Mason does exactly the same thing!!! He hides his toys/treats with invisible dirt and pretends it's out of sight (while in plain view) ...it's the funniest thing!!!

Mason's recent discovery is WATER! He LOVES dunking toys in his water bowl, grab it while water is dripping from his mouth, and bring it to me to throw it....I now have a mopping chore every night before I go to bed!! It was cute at first, but now it's just annoying

Another one of Mason's favorites is while we're playing fetch with his Kong, he will take the toy over to the shoe rack, dump it in one of the shoes and bark at it (because he can't get it out)....I'm like . "why the heck would you put the toy in the shoe so that you can't get to it?!?!?!"
They do the silliest thing, I tell ya.....

Talking So nosy!!

1) Yesterday, I broke a nail so I decided to file the rest of them down. So, I got out the nail file and sat on the couch only to be instantly pounced on! As I tried to use the file, Ruby tried to take it....I then realized that she thought it was a popsicle stick! The two objects do look the same, after all. My husband and I always save the last lick of the popsicle for her, and then she tries to steal the stick (which we don't let her do).

2) Does anybody else have a baby who naps on the back (top) of the couch like a cat? My couch cushions are really thick, so even tho she is 15 lbs., she still loves to lay up there...sometimes with her paws on your shoulder, if you have food she needs to check out!

My honey also loves to sit on the top part of the couch like a cat. I also think it's the cuttest thing when she falls asleep (anywhere for that matter) and snores LOUD!!! what's also funny is when she's done something good and i start to praise her she runs laps around the coffee table until she gets tired and dizzy. so cute!
