| Bed fit for a king or a sheik. I've seen some pretty fancy and pricey pet beds online, and thought it would be fun to make one for my baby.. So two weekends ago I was bored and I went to bed bath & beyond and bought their pet canopy bed (on sale for $19.99.. which was a great deal because it's solid wood).. I then went to JoAnne's ETC and spent about $150 on fabrics and tassels.. I reupholstered the white pillow that came with the pet canopy bed then made my own canopy (the one that came with the bed was white) and pillows.. I think it's pretty fancy.. Of corse Baby Dave still prefers his plushy Starwars bed.. But i'm hoping he'll eventually grow to appreciate his little king bed. |

| Looks great. My boys enjoy their bed a little too much as in they chew and rip it apart. After the third bed I decided no more. I ended up going to JC Penny and buying a bunch of plush throw blankets I put on my kitchen floor when I leave for them to enjoy. They love them and I don't need to come home to a kitchen filled with fuzz.

| Adorable! My cousin is GREAT at repurposing items....she went to a garage sale, bought 4 wooden end tables, nothing fancy....turned them upside down and with the legs sticking up like a four poster bed, she made adorable personalized beds for her babies! One is a "Princess" bed, one is a "Hunter's Lodge" bed, one is an over the top, extra plush and comfy enclosure, and she made 3 of the sides with chicken wire fencing, then she wove colored fabric thru the wire fencing, with the extra length hanging down about 12 inches all around the top....I cant remember what she did for the top, but some people she works with saw her beds and she ended up making beds for 10-12 people from work! She made a nice little bundle that she used for accessories in her new little home she just bought.....certainly not thousands of dollars, but she is thrilled with her new found little source of income!
