a good squeaky ball My Tommy got a small squeaky ball and loved it. I have never seen him play with something for so long, Problem is the squeaker come out and he almost eat it. I have now bought many different kind and the same thing happens. This balls are only lasting for a few hours. Does anyone know of a good squeaky ball that the squeaker does not come out of. I love to hear him play and squeak..LOL |
I buy the JW Pets none toxic rubber ball for Pao. There are different types. He has destroyed 2 out of the 10 I bought him so not bad at all. |
I saw them on amazon, Do they squeak? He only likes squeaky balls |
We highly recommend the latex squeaky balls sold by YT member ALLDOGBOOTS. They are absolutely Cali's (and all her playmates') favorites! They squeak easily. She is not a hard chewer/bitter, but has never destroyed one. Each ball has a cute little face on it. They are on the website. $4.49 each I think. We can't be without them:D |
Kong also makes tiny tennis balls with squeaky and none squeaky ones. Also have two tiny ones from JW and they love both. |
I know this thread is a little old but I second the JW balls and the ones with the funny faces from Alldogboots. Toto is a total ball destroyer and he breaks the Kong ones in less than 2 minutes, then rips off the fur so he has furry poop for a few days. We no longer buy the Kong ones; they just don't last. The JW one he cannot break but we do have to hide it from him after a while. The funny face ones from Alldogboots I actually had to break the squeaker bc it would not break and it was annoying me. LOL |
I like the cuz balls they just have stood the test of time in our house |
I buy my Grandpuppy x-small kong balls . I sew the tops of them because she pulls out the squeaker. Any kong toys are great . I have bought my new puppy which I am getting next month 6 , 3 yellow and 1 package of rainbow . Hope this helps . |

Thank you Karen!!:) |
Squeaky balls Thanks very much for the info. Kong balls are what I have bought grand puppy and already have 2 bags for my new puppy which I will have in 12 days. :) Always looking for new toys one can't have enough I say. |
Sewing tops of squeak balls I get the tops of the balls and sew them . I call it doing surgery. lol When Grandpuppy bites the stuffing of her toys which isn't too much., son puts it up and say we need to wait for Grammy to do surgery. Anything to keep that little girl happy. I use thin fishing line its stronger than thread. Of course you always need to do a check on their toys every so often to make sure they are not eating the stuffing as a snack. That's what works for her. I have had great success with it. And she sits on the floor and waits till Grammy is done sewing. :) Also , wash the toys every so often , I put them in a pillowcase and tie it. Enjoy your weekend. :animal-pa |

Great info here! We've had good luck with these over time: "JW Pet iSqueak Bouncin' Baseball Dog Toy" - in fact, it was Xapa's current favorite. We tried the tennis style balls but they got destroyed pretty quick. The "Chuckit!® Ultra Ball Dog Toy" is pretty durable but heavy and you have to be careful as it could hurt your dog if they caught it from a high bounce. Also, it doesn't squeak. Based on this thread, I just placed an order for 2 of these in anticipation of our new puppy in (hopefully) 2 months & 1 week or so: Latex Squeaky Ball Toys for Small & Big Dogs |

Emma likes the bacon ball Hartz DuraPlay Ball for Dogs - Dog Toss & Retrieve Toys | Hartz.com She goes nuts over this one. |
Before I got Gidget, I had a dachshund and got some small squeaky balls from noodleandfriends.com. I found one the other day and she just loves it. She picks it up, throws it up in the air and then chases it. They have several different ones and I'm going to order them for her when I move into my new apartment (whenever it's ready). I don't want to order them now and have them get lost in the moving process. |
Noodleandfriends.com has a great selection of small squeaky balls. I had originally bought one for my doxie (had to put him up for adoption b/c he was getting too big for me to handle). Now my Gidget loves to play with the one I kept. Will be moving into a new apartment soon and plan to get her several since she loves to play with the one I have--throws it up in the air and chases it. I'm currently living with my daughter and husband who have a 65# lab who likes to get Gidget's squeaky toy and chew it up. So her big surprise when we get into our new place will be squeaky toys of her very own. |

Thanks! |
This is an old thread but always a current topic. We don't buy Max and Sasha any squeaky toys because Max always chews the squeaker out of it and we don't want him to choke on it. They have several hard rubber balls that keep them busy without (at least in our minds) the choking hazard. If noise is something they like try the old plastic bottle in a sock trick |

That seller has 1,740 feedback with 99% positive. A quick search of his feedback showed he has rec'd 2 feedbacks on those balls in the last year and they were both positive so you should be safe |
Thanks for checking. I'll post an update once we get the toys & they get "tested". :) |
I ordered a package also, but the website looked legit, it had all my info. |

1 Attachment(s) Ours arrived today and look pretty good. They're marked "China" and came in a sealed plastic bag. Tex (our Yorkie) really likes this type of toy and I expect he'll have the squeaker out in a few days but will post back with a durability update. Here's a pic for any who are interested: |
