| Toy recommendations? I am trying to prepare some toys for my new puppy coming the 18th. What toys do you guys recommend? I was looking for a thread that would have like a list of recommended toys but not. So if anyone would like to start one that would be great! |

| I guess my Tibbe's very fav toy is a Kong toy with a tiny hole in each end that is just a bit smaller than his individual small-bites kibble. I punch each piece of kibble into the Kong toy and as he plays with it and bops it with his foot, a piece can fly out if he does it just right. He LOVE that! He will literally play with that thing for 30 minutes at a time! Good luck with your new baby!

| Do you have any picture of it? I realized that buying toys online is much better then going in stores because I can find deals online. Thank You! |

| That's a good question: I'm eager to read responses as my girl's coming on Thursday. The only toy I've gotten so far is a Kyjen Hide-a-Squirrel (junior). I looked at it out of the box, and the size looks good for her. Our local pet boutique also sells egg babies and some other toys ... I probably need to get something for her to chew on (puppy teeth!). The lady gave me a free cow's tail (supposedly better and easier to digest than rawhide) when I said I was getting a new puppy. I told her it's a Biewer, but not surprisingly, no one around here knows what a Biewer is!

| Rosie loves the no-stuffing toys. I think they are light and easy for her to carry. The Hide a Squirrel is a huge success with us as well. The small bone shaped toy at toplinepet.com is a great toy because it is small enough for her to carry around. Called Wild Style Bones (toplinepet.com) She also really likes the bully sticks.

| Jackson's semi-picky with his toys, but here are his FAVORITES! - Orbee ball (made by Planet Dog)- might be too big for a puppy mouth, though. - Kong Squeaker Tennis Balls (only tennis balls he will play with). - Cuz Ball (made by JW Pet Company- Jackson likes all their toys but tends to chew them easily). - Water Bumper (he likes to retrieve it in the water). PS - I see you are in Anchorage. Check out YT member alaskayorkie

| Levi will play with anything. But he especially loves his Kong, Cuz ball, Nylabones, and squeaky toys. I prefer the stuffing-free squeaky toys (Skineez).

| My pups love the Petstages toys. They petstages soft ring toss and mini-toss are favorites right now. They are soft and make rattle and crinkle noises. I ordered them from Amazon.com. |

| When Princess first came home her tiny mouth was limited to small, squeaky plushes for the most part. She did have some wiffle balls and she could grip it just between two holes so she didn't have to fit the whole thing in her mouth. She was so proud of herself carrying around that ball that was about the size of her head. Her breeder also sent this soft cat toy on a stick, she loved that thing, too. I didn't play any tugging games until she was older. Her faves now are the "cuz" & mini kong squeakers-they have those at Target, 4 for about $3-$4 I think. Cheaper than the pet stores here.

| I just bought the Cuz ball at amazon since several people here mentioned it. Jax loves it and I think I'll use it as his new training toy. Thanks! |

It's a very thick rubber ball with feet. They can old it by the feet, fling it, bounce it, it bounces all over the place because of the feet. It has a squeaker that's pretty hard to break (we never have) & the squeak is not like most squeakers, the dogs seem to go nuts for it. You can get the "good" cuz or the "naughty" cuz-which has little horns.
