Squeaky toys Does anyone have a Yorkie that loves the squeaky toys? My Chloe has two toys that she absolutely loves. They are little cloth dogs with a squeaker on each end. My dog has learned how to make them squeak and it's so cute! I wish I had a video camera so I could upload a vid of her playing. It's too cute! |
My furbutt freakin goes nuts!!! lol he loves squeaky toys and sometimes I run around the basement with him squeaking the toy like crazy while he chase me. Love my baby :animal36 |

Sometimes Kayla goes nuts and trys to tear the sqeeker out of the toy. She has done it more than once, so we have to really watch she doesn't eat it too. These little warts get into everything. |

Yes! My Levi LOVES squeaky toys...and kills the squeakys! It takes him about two days to destroy the squeaker in a new toy. Luckily, he still plays with his toys even after they have been de-squeaked! |

Yep, she loves them!! The hide a squirrel is one of her favs. But she has a BAD problem with trying to dig the squeaker out. |

lol that is Remy... she has two of the no stuffing double squeaker toys. One is a red mouse -- I posted a video of my dh with the toy in his back pocket and Remy was going nuts jumping to get to the toy!!! If I can't find Remy in the house all I have to do is squeak one of her toys.. and there is Remy!!! She goes nuts... she will lay the toy on my feet and if I am busy and don't notice she will "remind" me.. this starts at 6 am :eek: |

My puppy, Murphy LOVES squeaky toys. He has a duck (that is almost as big as he is) that he loves to play with. It's a little rope where the feet would be, and has a long body. We throw it around and play tug-of-war, but he goes NUTS when it starts squeaking. We've been through two of these ducks now. It's his favorite toy, but he likes to pull things apart. The last one's body and tail became two separate toys after a month or so. |

Yorkies are finders. They were originally used to find rats in the mines and mills. I know for certain that my Murphy LOVES to "hunt" down his toys if he hears them squeak. It's his nature I assume. I guess it's just natural for yorkies to tear it apart. |
Squeaky toys Our Graysee LOVES her squeaky toys! In fact, she has the very first toy we bought her, as a puppy; it is a plush hamburger, and there are none like it anywhere anymore. So, I bought some small squeakers, online, and when she's chewed the "squeak" out of the squeaker, I just carefully open up the toy at the seams, replace the squeaker, sew it up again, and it's good for another 6-12 months. I've replaced the squeakers in a couple other plush toys, as well. |
is it common that they rip apart the toy and chew the squeaker Graysee has only chewed the squeaker out of one toy, ever; the Flex-A-Foam "Gearhead", by Hartz. I've replaced every one that I bought, as Graysee seems to concentrate on destroying the squeaker. However, since I seem to have purchased the very last one, online last year, and I told her, "do NOT destroy the squeaker in this one, because I can't get another one", she has, miraculously, taken care not to chew solely on the squeaker gear, and it has lasted to this day! |

My male LOVES anything that squeaks. My mil had a racoon toy for her border collie that had about 20 squeakers in it, and it became Couver's favorite toy in the world. He also loves the skineez toys that have a squeaker at each end. |

I got mine a squeaky from Tractor Supply that has 19 squeakers in it! Thay both get on each end at the same time! May as well forget watching TV when they get going!:eek: |
