| Crazy about Squeaky Toys My yorkie goes crazy over anything with a squeaky toy. She won't leave them alone. It is like puppy crack. She can't stop pushing on them. I have taken them away from her because I am afraid they are harmful for her. Am I wrong or is this normal behavior that won't hurt her? |

| Let her play! She is just having fun. Kacee has a bunch, too. The loudest of them all is so fun to hear her playing with. I know she's happy and having a good time.

| Our little Piper is like that! It is puppy crack for her. The squeaks don't last long. The only time I ever take one from her is when I can hear the tv over the squeaks or I am on the phone and can't hear. That's when I get out an old one with a busted squeaker! But God love her....she's tries anyway.

| Let her play! Puppyhood is too short to waste it on not squeaking. My guys love squeaky toys. They are really fond of the Dr. Noys tiny squeaky toys with the replaceable squeakers. |

| Aww, cute! She should be fine playing with the toys, just make sure she doesn't eat or ingest any of the toy! If it starts to fray or get broken, replace it with a new one. My Rhia LOVES to whip the toys around and runs around my apartment squeaking them.

| Thanks for all of the replies. I am still unsure, because with Brandy it is a 24/7 thing. Seriously, it is nonstop, like she can't stop pushing on it. When I took it away, she stood at the door to the closet whining for a really long time. I have tried bringing it out, hoping she could just play with it for awhile, but nope, she knew right away what it was and started right in. |

Poppy's Mamma ♥ Donating Member | Poppy is addicted to squeakers too. She can be anywhere in the house but if I squeak one of her toys she comes bursting into the room charging at me like a wild women.

| Interesting that Poppy looks very much like my Brandy girl. Same ears, coloring and squeaky toys. Hmmmm. |

| I just bought Ziva the small size Kong tennis balls- I didn't realize that it has a squeaker!- it is slightly difficult to squeak and not too loud, actually was a couple days before Ziva figured how to do it. Looks like it should last awhile too. I would buy them again, we had been looking for a sturdy lightweight ball that she could chase, these really fit. |

YT Addict | Coco loves squeaky toys! She gets a new one every Sunday. I wouldn't worry about giving them to her! We just take them away when she rips them up and stuffing starts coming out.

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | Tallulah's favorite toys are those long unstuffed furry toys with squeakers at both ends. I like them because she likes to toss them around and chew them all over so the squeak isn't constant. Don't tell her, but she's getting a bunch of them from Santa this year. |
