Hide a squirrel
 
OMG! Paris loves his hide a squirrel. I bought it off Amazon. He sleeps with one of the baby squirrels and walks around with one in his mouth all day. I am ordering extra squirrels. THe squeakers have lasted since Christmas and he is rough on squeakers, They usually last 15 minutes!
Love it!

I have the same toy and both my babies love it. They both run around with a squirrel in their mouth and they often bring one to me to through and run to kill it:D

:animal-pa:animal-pa Two paws up! We bought Sophie the Hide-A-Squirrel for Christmas last year and it's still one of her favorite toys, The squeakers last forever! :D

Ours love the hide-a-squirrel also. We also have the hide-a-bees which are bigger and the rabbits-in-the-hat. Mimimomo also sells these on her site, toplinepet.com

I got one for mine for Christmas and they really dont play with it. I was disapointed but I bought them other toys they do play with

Izzy LOVES LOVES LOVES this toy.. She got it as a gift from the YT gift exchange and it has been her favorite toy EVER!! The other dogs never get a chance to play with them because Izzy always has them nearby her.. I'm not joking, if she sees them trying to play with them she freaks out..lol..

That's Paris too. If you come near his baby squirrel he jumps to grab it, and don't even try to take it from him. Sometimes he has to do a time out from them. LOL

Hide a Squirrel
 
Hi Everyone! We bought Teddi one of these before Christmas and he loved it!! UNTIL he found the ears...tried to chew them off one by one so we had to cut them off so he would not choke. Then came the hair - so...we cut that off too. Also the leaves on the trunk - Now we have 3 bald, deaf squirrels and a tree trunk with no leaves!!!! :rolleyes: *sigh* Teething :p

winston carries the whole tree trunk so our cats won't touch it. he goes crazy over this toy. it is so funny because he sometimes gets his head stuck inside the trunk. lol

Paris' tree trunk doesn't have loose leaves they are part of the trunk and can't be grabbed. Maybe I have a different model?

Hi! The leaves on ours weren't loose either - they were sewn on but not embroidered on. If you look closely the edges are loose and with Teddi being such a voracious chewer he began tearing them almost immediately!! :rolleyes: I had to use a hem / seam ripper to remove them so I did not damage the trunk!

I'm so happy that Izzy loves her new toy!! Trixie didn't get hers until Christmas but she is in love with it too!!

Rylie has the small. We ordered it from mimimomo's site for $9.99, best price I've seen! www.toplinepet.com

It is perfect for her! She's between 3.5 and 4lbs (not sure on exact weight because she has grown since her last vet visit, so I gave a range :p). She loves her hide-a-squirrel.

I bought three of them when PPE pets PPE Pet Supplies
had them on their Friday Only Sale for $1.99 each - you were limited to 3, so I bought 3 - one for Beamer and Lil Bit to play with and 2 for the GE's.

Tess has had hide a bee and hide a sqiuirrel for about a year. Shhe always brings me her bees to play fetch and put them all back in the log. Its adorable. I bought both sets for 19.95 from smartpak.com. It is a wonderful & reasonable catalogue,also on line. They have everything from dog food to meds to toys. The shipping price is extremly low.

I went to PetsMart to purchase the hide-a-squirrel toy, and they didn't have one. But, they did have the Martha Stuart version with chicks and a barn.

I tried to get Avery to play with it, but he's just not interested. He did play with one of the chicks by iteself for about 10 seconds. But, overall he just looked at me like, "What are you doing, crazy woman?!"

Any tips or suggestions?

Ummm maybe he doesn't like chickens??? :confused:

Do the chicks squeak? I know my girl goes crazy for the squeak and that's why she goes after them.
