Treat recommendation Hello everyone. I wanted recommendations on whats a good treat to entertain my pup. She is in the crate allot while I'm at work 4 hours at a time. And I found that rawhides kept her entertained. BUT I also read that rawhide aren't good for the dogs. So therefore I will not be giving those to her anymore... I looked up bully sticks I know allot of people recommend it here but I dont know if its good to leave her alone with. Can someone please help me... Any other suggestions.. |
Bailey loves bully sticks - but she only gets them when supervised. No rawhides here either. A kong stuffed with frozen dog food or peanut butter is a good start... |

Roxy for some reason doesn't like the Kong ball with Peanut butter or anything for that matter.. She's picky when it comes to her toys.. Ugh I swear she's like a year old LOL!!!!:aimeeyork |
Lola loves her bully stick too!! Have you looked into deer antlerz? They last a very long time. Also I sell Himalayan chews which last for a long time. |

This explains whta antlers are: 100% natural, mineral rich, long lasting dog chew. The new chew is made from a natural material that is rich in minerals, does not splinter and comes from a completely renewable source: Deer Antlers! Wild deer shed their antlers once a year as part of a natural process, after which the deer re-grow another set. These shed antlers are gathered by ranch workers and transported to QT Dog's manufacturing facility. The antlers are cut to the appropriate size, cleaned, and packaged to produce dog chews. ANTLERZ™ hold up substantially longer than most traditional chews made from plastic, bone, or compacted starch. A minerals analysis of these dog chews show high concentrations of calcium and phosphorus, with trace amounts iron, zinc, and sodium. Unlike processed livestock bones ANTLERZ™ don't chip or splinter when they are being used by even the most aggressive chewing dogs. A dog's chewing action grinds ANTLERZ™ down slowly. Deer antlers are a 100% natural, mineral rich dog chew that contains no plastics, no petrochemicals, no empty starches or artificial flavors. My website for the himalayan chews is Puppy Potty Training - Dog Pee Pads - www.NewPuppyPads.com Also I have a thread started in the for sale section http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/yor...dog-chews.html |

Milo does not like peanut butter either, I feed him Natural Balance LID dry kibble, but they make a roll food also I get him the lamb and either put that in the kong or I moisten his dry food and freeze it. He loves it, can keep him busy for hours. |

They are available in many sizes- both length and diameter. |
I feed my girl, Purebites, and she loves them. The trainer at Petco use it for her classes and Chi-Chi immediately loved it. On a sidenote, why aren't rawhides good for dogs? Also, my girl is teething, any recommendations? |

Hi, I received the chew yesterday during the day so at my lunch break I went home and put it in her crate she smelled it for about 3 mins and turned away... I had to go out yesterday night so I left it in there with her in the crate. When I got home later on the chew was actually outside of her crate. I don't know if its that she doesn't like it or what... I'll give it a few more days if not I'll have to get her the bully sticks and see how she feels about those... Thanks again. |
