You are right about Rawhide not being healthy. And, like others have said, bully sticks should only be used when you are supervising your baby. We have used RW balls with the holes in them for Lucas. We have the yellow football-shaped one: Welcome to JW Pet Company - The Leading Innovator of Pet Supplies We use it only for when he is in his kennel and we are out, so he associates it with us leaving and happily hops into his kennel whenever he sees it. We put a half or 2 halves of a square soft treat inside it which occupies him as he tries to get the treat out. The treats we normally use are: http://www.zukes.com/woof/hip-action.html |
When my dog was a puppy and I had to leave him in a crate, I bought a hollow bone and would stuff one end with peanut better, put reg. Cherrios in the middle, and put peanut butter in the other end. This kept him busy for quite a while and he really looked forward to my leaving because he knew he would get the bone full of treats. |
We give bully sticks, deer antlers, and Himalayans for chews. For treats, we give Wellness Pure Rewards and Fruitables. |
Hi, my little fur baby is only 11 weeks old and probably about 2 pounds - if that. She'll be about 3.5 pounds fully grown I was told. I just got her Friday and was wondering what kind of treats would be healthy and appropriate for her size? I picked up some mini sized Dentastix for small toy dogs, but just noticed that they should only be used on adult dogs and not dogs under 5 lbs...don't know how I missed that on the back of the label! She loves them, but I just want to make sure treats I give to her are okay for her. Any suggestions? She does love her yogurt but I typically put that down for her with her dry food. Would the Coco Therapy be okay for her? What about the Bully sticks or Deer antlerz? Any suggestions on treats for tiny fur babies would be great. I plan on trying the Kongo too with peanut butter as well. Thanks! :) |

We also sell something called toy temptations, they are very small and the baker make them because she had issues finding treats for her small dog. |
