How many toys...? 1 Attachment(s) I took Allie to Petsmart yesterday to make a groomer appointment and ended up buying her 6 more toys! My hubby wasn't happy when I got home. She has a tub full of toys now and there are more things I am seeing that I think she will like. (Chew toys mostly.) My question is: How many toys do your furbabies have?? Also, does anyone else have the BoBo toy from the Petsmart commercials? I finally broke down and bought her one thinking it would be a waste. Nope! She carried it around just like in the commercial! What is it about these things that our babies love? Anyone else have one?? |
I've never even heard of a Bobo. I just looked up an image of it, though. They seem really really big, but your little pup still likes to carry it around? I actually don't have that many toys for my pup ... maybe seven? She really likes pens, though. I bought 50 of them and I'll take the cap off, take the ink out and give her the body. She goes to town on those. Oh, and she has some weird penchant for those small Victoria's Secret stuffed dogs. They're so stiff and way too big for her, but she likes grabbing it by the leg and having me throw it. Go figure! |
Laya has way too many toys. She will be 7 this year so I have been toy collecting for 7 years if you can imagine:rolleyes: I really need to stop... Once in a while I do give some away because they are like brand new and she has never touched them. It's so addictive. But she usually goes back to the same two toys! LOL And yes we have a couple of bo bo toys. They come in different sizes which is nice. She doesn't carry it around she just shakes it and tries to kill it. Crazy girl!!! |
It's nice to know someone else shares the addiction. Allie is beginning to understand more things now. I can say "Go get Bobo." and she will pick him up. She also is getting better at putting her toys back in her tub after she is done with them. |
Jackson doesn't have TOO many, but then again... he's only 8 months old. I guarantee it will rack up a lot more over the years, LOL. He's not big into toys though. He has to be in a certain mood and I have to be playing WITH him haha. |
Baron probably has 40-50 toys to play with. I've only had him for 1 year. 6 of them are BoBo''s. He has a red, white and blue one,a purple one,a leopard stripe one, an orange one, a Zebra one that neighs like a horse and a blue one. Sophie Kennedy's first Mom is sending all her toys from Arkansas!! I think I'm going to need a bigger house for their toys. Since she joined the family I buy 2 of everything But, They still fight over what the other has. Just like little kids...LOL My Hubs keeps saying that they have enough toys, clothes and collars. I go into a pet store and can't help it....They love getting presents...:p |
I would love to see pictures of Baron with his Bobos! I saw one on a GE that was supposed to resemble the Statue of Liberty. I thought that was so cute!! |
I've lost count of all the toys that Lil' Miss Izzie has....she has 2 large toy boxes full (overflowing) and then even more toys upstairs... I'm a toy shopping aholic  |
Awe...that is such a cute pic of Allie with her BoBo toy. :):aimeeyork That's one toy I don't think my Rudy has yet. Oh my, I would hate to count the # of toys he has. ;) |
Well our little Ryle and Fancie Pants have well over 100 toys:eek:. But they have their favorites and most go untouched. I am always coming home with something new. When company comes over they tease us and say it looks like Dogs-R-Us:p. |
Maddy probably has 25? |
doggie toys My 2 babies have about 25 toys already. They are Ella 9 months and Hobson 7 1/2 months. I have them in a short, round basket. Hobbs will root around in there until he finds the one he is looking for. But he plays with them all eventually. Ella was not a toy player, but because she wants to keep up with Hobbs. She will chase him if he has a toy in his mouth! They are so funny! Beverly:aimeeyork:aimeeyork |
toys Also Hobbs likes the squeaker ones because if I am not playing with them together he will get Ella's attention that way. Beverly:aimeeyork:aimeeyork |
my dogs look in every bag that comes in because we usually dont go to any store without buying them something. They have 3 toybox's full! |

Uni's got lots of BoBo's. The original cream one, a mini pink one, a mummy one, a hawaii one, and pirate one. The squeakers always break on them but she still likes them. |
Guess I'm not the only one who can't resist buying another toy or chew for my baby. Caylee is 9 mo and she has a small box full of her toys. But her favorite is the little carrot -- I tied it to a string and she loves chasing it; she has already worn out two (but I have two more in reserve). Next is her "squeakie toy" (little frog that the breeder gave us). She tolerates the rest that I buy (probably to make Mommie happy), but those two are her absolute favorites. Seems like we all have a lot in common when it comes to our little Yorkies! |
My Jack has one except we refer to it as "Winnie Dog". He loves his Winnie dog and he will go into his toy box to pick it out and will toss it in front of me to get my attention. It's the cutest thing! He has so many toys and I can't help but pick him out a new one every time we go into petsmart! Spoiled little thing lol. |

How many toys??? Inside or outside? I could not begin to count, really. There is a wheelbarrow outside full of toys. I gather them all up before I mow and the dogs scatter them out during the rest of the week. I try to keep most of the plush ones inside. Inside we have a huge basket full in the den and another the living room, plus about a dozen or so loose toys scattered about the house (I won't count the ones hidden under furniture and sometimes in my bed! If they were all in better condition, I could start a toy store! I have more variety than most pet shops. I have a box in the closet of new toys. If we are having company, I can move the everyday toys out and give them a couple of new ones to keep them occupied and not wondering where the others are. It is really sickening. I can't help it! The kids need their toys! |
I just read through all the other posts -- I had to laugh because several said their dogs all want to look through the sacks when folks come home from shopping. That is how mine are too. They really look disappointed when there is nothing for them. They like variety too! We sometimes go so far as to grab a treat and pretend we got it from the bag so they don't know we didn't bring them something. They probably are thinking, "Who does she think she is fooling with that treat gag?" :D Captain Noonie -- where did you get the pirate? We'd really like to add that one to the collection? |
Yep, hundreds of toys here too! Their favourites at the moment are the little squeakers and the plush shoe that Twinkle got for the GE. Wicket used to love chewing on this rubber tyre toy that belongs to our big dog, he got his head stuck in it the other day and I think it put him off because he's not been near it since! Every so often one of them will claim one of the kids toys as their own, and I'm always finding socks in their toy pile too! xxx |

Buster and Teddy get a new toy just about every week. They just love them. All kinds including cat toys. I just watch out for the ones with the tiny little bells, but other than that, yeah they love the cat toys as well. |
Laci has a ton of toys way to many to count actually but I wanted to warn you about that bobo toy, I have two of them and the little ears come off easily and I have found them both in Lacis mouth.. she likes to shake and shake her toy and they have become detached and I have found them in her mouth... scary be very careful to watch if they come loose... |
I heard that dogs LOVE the bobo toys ! I cant seem to find one at a decent length though (I can only find the ones that are over a foot long). I'm going to continue my search though! I bet little louis would love one of those! |
Toby and Zoey have about 20 between the two of them. I have a little basket in the room that they can get their stuff when they want to play with something. I won't buy more than that because I will have crazy fits trying to figure out where to keep it all. So when they abuse something too much and it looks like it's time for the trash I throw it out and replace it with something new. You can add up toys fast as their little birthday's, easter, halloween, xmas, etc are all good reasons to get them a little something. Mine love the little Bobo. Not sure what it is about that dog but they will fight over it. |

Honey Bear is super spoiled!!! She has a basket full of toys...not sure how many. She has taken over all the cat toys I bought for my boys. The boys never showed much interest in their toys anyway, except for one little stuffed skunk that Joey likes and she has taken it over! The cutest thing she does is take every toy into her tent! The tent gets so full she can hardly fit into it! It is so hard not to buy her something everytime I go to the petshop!!! :D |

Just found a Bobo that is curved, so I can put it around her neck or around my ankle and she has a fit. She loves it. We also had to buy some more chew toys because she is losing her baby teeth. She looks so pathetic with no teeth! :p |
