I spend all this money on toys....
 
Does this happen to you all--you buy your babies a new toy everytime you go to the store...to the point where their bed is so full of toys they can't sleep in it :D ...and they end up playing with something cheap they find around the house? Nemo found an empty medicine bottle that fell off the counter (don't worry it had been cleaned out and the label removed) and he's been playing with that thing non stop! I have to laugh because its too funny seeing him carry this bottle that barely fits in his mouth. If I can catch him I'll have to take a picture to share with you guys!

Tooo funny......would love to see pic. Yes, I'm guilty as well. Bella loves to carry around a 'sock'!:rolleyes:

Sebastian loves socks too! I rarely buy toys anymore. He has a couple favorites that I replace when they wear out. But, most of the toys he could care less about...

Bella and Skeeter LOVE their toys, but only if you are playing with the toy WITH them such fetch, tug-a-war, etc! Skeeter will just sleep if he isn't playing but Bella LOVES to grab my knee highs out of the laundry before I fold it and take them and play with them. She takes as many as she can get and stuffs them all in her bed then she sits on them when I try to take them back. I swear I have holes in all my socks from her little teeth!!!

Bella will play with her "blankey" when she is tired. She likes to make it a tent and then go under it. I will have to get you guys a picture of that! :D

That is so cute! I would love to see a picture of that.

Sebastian also only plays with his toys if I'm playing with him. He loves stuffed animals that squeak and all the kong wubba toys. But, he has never liked plastic/rubber toys.

I spend WAY too much money on Jackson but I just can't help it!! lol. Whenever I'm surfing this site, I get way too many ideas and end up spending and spending online lol.

our dogs are like that to... totally toy spoiled all scattered round the house and garden lol but toilet rolls and the kids dirty socks are their free stuff they luv most :rolleyes:

I guess I'd have to say ditto to what so many others have already said. Zoe (especially when she was a baby!) basically won't play with any toy unless you're playing with it with her! :rolleyes:

The sad thing: one of Zoe's favorite toys are PLASTIC WATER BOTTLES! :eek: Yes, the ones you buy in 12-24 packs .... :rolleyes: She was afraid of them as a baby because they were too big (compared to her and her mouth I guess) and now ... she goes NUTS! At first I covered them with socks (her other "free" toy love) and now she doesn't even care if there's a sock on it, she just loves her water bottles! I feel like a dirty person, my house is strewn with at least a half dozen empty water bottles! :p

LOL...I woud love to see pics of your furbaby playing with her/his fav toy. I spend so much money on toys and fortunately Cassi & Ori plays with most of them. However, they also love to play with an empty plastic water bottle as well.

Laci played with my mascara tube for about an hour, she was all excited, rolling on top of it and making noises.. it was pretty funny!

Fancy does the same thing - heck they are just like our skin kids! They would rather play with what the toy came in or was attached to then the toy itself...:rolleyes:

Winston also has a lot of toys, his toy box is overflowing...but he loves to play with them. Sometimes I have to dig to the bottom to find one he hasn't played with in awhile...he acts like it's brand new...never seen it before. I can't think of anything "free" that he plays with...hmmmmm...I think I've created a monster. But I love that he loves his things, there are a few that he will not share with us...he prefers to keep those to himself...but others he does bring to us to play with him.

Have you seen the new toy "animals" that are actually made to slip over water bottles for pets? It's definitely one of those "why didn't I think of that" ideas!

Yes! I was like what!?! :eek: It was a total, why didn't I think of that. But it was also a, they're charging what for that!?! :eek: I even talked a couple OUT of getting one! I was like "just a plain bottle in a sock works just fine!" and they were amazed! :)

P.S. I do actually have some video of Zoe playing with a water bottle. I'll have to see if the camera software is installed (had to switch computers) and if it is I'll upload it and post it!

my sisters yorkie coco can unscrew waterbottles. and then she likes to watch the caps roll.
