lol this is a great thread Shelby Rae loves all her toys and scatters them all over the house but she also has tons of fun with the top to my secret deodorant spray..and heaven help us if she finds a stryofoam coffe cup in my car cup holder...she grabs it and goes to the passenger or back seat and bites off little pieces and spits them out all over the seat..she makes a huge mess...she is just so cute the way she rips a piece off then shakes her head to get it out of her whiskers...she's 8 and never swallowed any she just loves to do it lol. Little Kaylee does the same thing with paper towels... my skin kids get sooo mad at me because I let them make such a mess and I just happily clean it up.,,,but I wouldn't have let them do that when they were little lol:D |
Money on toys! Boy you got that right. For quite some time I just couldn't seem to stop picking up a couple more every time I was out. Some cost a fortune. The other day I had a leftover piece of the fake sherpa wool that I was about to throw away. Kinda 10"x12" size. Then I cut diagonal corners off to make it so I could tie it in a knot. Tossed it to Roxy & she romped & played like no tomorrow. A few days later I spotted a ball with a bell in it on the floor. Tied that inside the knot, and that made it even better. First time I've seen her really get into shaking a toy like crazy. She really likes squeaker toys, so the bell really improved something she already was having a blast with. Who knew? Have been trying to think of other simple ideas ever since. |

I'm guilty too. Laya has way to many toys and she too will find something on the floor to play with besides her toys. She loves stealing anything paper and running around with it so I can chase her to get it back. But I love when I come back from the store and she always goes in the bags to see if there's anything for her. LOL |
