| More DIY Toys I've been discovering some new toys lately... 1. Put an old "boring" toy inside a used sock. 2. Hair scrunchies are best right after they're removed from your hair. 3. Boxes with delicious/gross stuff inside (kong stuffing, peanut butter, whatever - it doesn't take much) Nikko has been obsessed all evening with this box I put a bit of kong stuffing into at the far corners. It's not that he doesn't love his kong with that same stuff in it, but something novel is always more exciting and lasts much longer. Lauren & Nikko PS: Please, if you have any other fun DIY ideas, post them... We don't have much extra money for "real" store-bought toys, but we love to find fun new ways to entertain Nikko, and it seems like there are an awful lot of hand-made options if you get creative! |

| Rocky loves toliet paper rolls. He will play with one forever! He will finally chew on it and I have to take it away but I love to watch him bat it around and chase after it. He also loves an empty water bottle. They are so thin these days, he can bitein to it and get a little crinkle sound that he loves. All of mine have lovd the crochet fluffy balls. In fact, I need to make them some new ones. Great idea for a thread!
