| Simon's 2nd Bday! Gift ideas Ok, Simon is going to be 2 September 18 (I can't believe it). I need ideas for presents! I am having a party for him with all his neighborhood friends (i.e. his girlfriend Ezra). Hallie had a great celebration with all new toys, a new bed, new clothes, etc. so of course Simon's has to be equally as grand! Besides giving him a bazillion soccer balls, I don't know what else for him. I'd like something fun and entertaining that will keep him occupied (he's a little hyperactive). Any ideas? P.S. I'll get Hallie presents too (that's only fair)! |

How about getting Simon a Bumble Ball? That was my other choice while shopping for doggie toys. I think this one is kindof cute too. I love the ones on this site b/c they're all suggested by Cleanrun as good learning toys. http://www.cleanrun.com/moreinfo.cfm...TOKEN=77268210

| Let the dilemma begin......Simon has the beehive and the squirrels. And the bumbleball (no interest)! He has a particular fondness to "boy" type toys. He likes his fleece hammer, his stuffed screwdriver, his soccer ball, and his snuggle puppy. Simon is a very gender specific toy picker I need to occupy his brain more I think. I'm gonna check out that link Val. Thanks! |

| HAHAHA Here's an idea for ya! Sully and I were visiting my neighbor this morning and Sully discovered their gerbils in the glass cage! HE WENT NUTS! Now there was no way he could actually get to the gerbils' cage, but he was pawing at them and barking like crazy! You should get Simon and Hallie a couple pet gerbils, haha! Not to let out of their cages, of course.....they're pets, not dinner.

| Heheh Val! That would be tons of entertainment and get me evicted I thought about getting Simon a fish. He loves our neighbors fish. Yea, I'm thinking about getting Simon a pet. I'm a bit crazy! Mandy, Luigi is only gonna be 1! You know Hallie is 3 so he better still love an older puppy |

| Haha! You really are thinking about getting him a pet, LOL! I love it! We have fish but Sully could care less about them. If you get a fish you have to take a video of Simon watching it, hehe! Simon's fish, what would he name his own pet fish?

| I was thinking about that too. What would Simon name is pet fish. Probably soccer ball (maybe David Beckam) but hopefully he wouldn't name him "Treat" or "Dinner" if you know what I mean!! |

| That's what my cat names all of our fish, haha!!! Actually she could care less about the fish...she just likes drinking the water out of the bowl. I guess b/c it's "fish flavored". I've had fish as long as I've had her so she's used to them, I guess. When she was a kitten she used to watch them, but not anymore.
