Adults Yorkies for Adoption, not sale! Hello, I'm a Yorkshire Terrier breeder in northern New England. I'm looking for excellent homes for some breeding and show champion dogs I'll be retiring this year. Since I'll be doing the home visits and follow-ups myself, I prefer homes within a day trip. I will require character and veterinary references. These are lovely dogs, healthy and sweet natured. They will be spayed/neutered and fully updated on veterinary needs upon leaving me. Thank you for your interest and consideration.:) |
Wish I lived closer. Your dogs are amazing. Best of luck finding wonderful homes for them. |
Your dogs are gorgeous! Just amazing! Wishing you the best of luck finding forever homes! <3 |
Whoever gets your dogs are SOOOO lucky! I wish we were closer. |
Add me to the list of the too far but think this is an amazing opportunity. Good luck finding their perfect forever homes. I'm sure you'll have so many applicants. |
Thank you for your kind words, everyone. I made my first placement the other day. I left the home sobbing, but survived the experience. Maybe it will get easier. I love my Yorkies. |
Right we might be in the category of too far away. We even spread the word with a co-worker of mine that thought that she wanted another. I do hope they find amazing homes. |
In Ct Hi We are right in CT less than a days drive from you. We currently have a yorkie who is 2 and were looking for a sibling for him. Contact me if you would like. Funny thing is you were on my list of breeders to talk to. :-) thanks Lisa |

Your babies are gorgeous. I wish I live closer, also. I can imagine how you feel leaving them at their new home. |
Nyc Hello, Would you consider a NYC adoption? I am seeking an adult female since my girl had to be put to sleep in December due to vet negligence. My male, also a Yorkie needs a companion, he is lonely. Well, so am I. |

I Take My Hat Off To You For Being A Caring Breeder I just wanted to thank you for being a caring breeder - I have been volunteering for an animal rescue for 10 years [not dogs] and some of my friends have been rescuing for over 20 - many, many people in rescue do not believe in breeding dogs, cats, etc. - But this is NOT the problem - The problem is rampant careless breeding - I currently have two Yorkies - both rescues - another rescue passed a few years ago - all three were parti and all three have health issues prior to "old age" - Name something and I have probably dealt with it - teeth issues, collapsed trachea, cushings, diabetes, dry eye and blindness [two dogs] - and I could name 3 or 4 more issues but you get the idea - My dad got two Yorkies [yes he is straight] about 8 years ago - both were rescues and we suspect they were puppy mill puppies - one we put down because of cancer and the other is a black and tan and doing well besides mild teeth issues - As a side note between the two of us we use four different vets - we each have one Western vet and I use two different vets who practice [Eastern] TCM - Traditional Chinese Medicine for animals - I buy the best food for all the dogs as I feed my dad's dog too - I cook for them too - I live about 20 minutes away from the Chi Institute [teaching institute for vets and the #1 vet in TCM on the planet owns and run it] I take my dogs to Chi when the clinics allow for small dogs - both of my Eastern vets trained at Chi and one teaches at Chi - Expenses aside, and having said this, nothing replaces good quality breeding and I cannot tell you how heartbreaking it is to find out your dog has diabetes OR on a Saturday she can see and on Sunday she cannot as my vet warned me she would be blind soon - all three of my Yorkies are aging quicker than they should and it is not due to lack of care on my end - The cost of a puppy or adult dog from a quality breeder will actually SAVE you money in the long run - as the dog will age normally and not have early onset health issues - I'm not wealthy - I can't be - I have rescue dogs!!! |

I sent you our info. I have a 4 year old yorkie we got from a breeder who bred for show when she was one. So we know all about dogs that are not house trained or used to family life.(she is peepad and outdoor trained now) We live in central/western Massachusetts. We have a big home, fenced in yard and a wonderful vet. I have been thinking about a sibling for Jesse. |
Just gorgeous! I also wish I was closer. :smile:They look like they have been pampered. Lucky for those who'll have them. Good luck on finding them homes. :animal36:animal-pa |

I love your dogs and I so wish I lived near. My female yorkie Genie passed away a few months ago and I so want another. I am heartbroken for a little girl... |
Hi ... I wanted to send this in just in case I would qualify in some way. I have had 2 Yorkies for 16years and in Dec 2015 I lost my little boy. Now my GiGi who is 14years old is home alone when I go to work and it really hurts me to see that. She is now more obedient (doing this herself) then when my little guy was alive cause there were both playfully terrors together. But I am seriously considering getting an older Yorkie for my sweet little GiGi. We do live in New Jersey....so if you would like to consider us please let me know. Thanks tina |
I would love to adopt a girl but I'm living in Cali. |
Thank you! Four of the five dogs I'm retiring this year have found amazing homes in southern NH. It took months of correspondence with the adoptive homes, plus home visits, to find perfect places for my precious Yorkies to go. I'm grateful to the Yorkietalk members who have expressed interest and good wishes. |
Good to hear that. If u have time to keep contact with them and see if they doing good - I also want to know how to take care my yorkie best. If u don't mind to contact me ? Give me some tips please ? Thanks |
Female Yorkie. Rescue to perform home visit Do you still have any small females left? I recently lost my 12y/o bunny to cancer. She was my life, my support animal. I'm in California but if you can trust a rescue out here for a home visit it would mean the world to me |
Update Tinka is available to a great adoptive home. She's exquisitely beautiful and will be 6 years old in December. Please complete the Inquiry Form on my web site for more information. You must be within a day trip of Northern NH.:) |
Hi is Tinka still available. ...she sounds like a good fit in my household....It has been a while since you posted this. I live in NJ not sure if this is too far from you. Thanks Tina |

My little boy dog son passed away and my wife and family are heartbroken , So we went on the Internet and got taken for an embarrassing amount of money. So we have had to save up now to get a new baby we took quite a hit and are still recovering from the hurt of not receiving our puppy. So if someone can help me it would be greatly appreciated. |
