AS I HAVE STATED ABOVE i dont want to be rude BUT MY OPINION will be known... so sad that i AM A FEMALE a very young one, i am only 23 and ive been through abuse and a dog is not the answer to the problem..... a dog is not an excuse.. i know she wants to help but i dont see it.. theres so many other ways of helping othen than having alittle dog have puppies just as a show to younger women .. this is sad...

Since when does posting ads in more than one place mean you have bad intentions for a dog? I am trying to find someone to do something out of the norm. Of course I am going to post in as many places as possible to find that right person. I have a great record with my vet of taking care of the dogs I have had throughout my life. These dogs will get lifelong care from a vet for free, plus a lot of people loving them. More than I can say for what is happening to a lot of dogs who were bought by working people who suddenly lose their jobs and homes and simply abandon their dogs. I have never abandoned a dog and in fact helped find many homes. I also have found another way they can be useful - not used.. By your standards a drug sniffing dog or one that is trained to sniff out dead bodies is a dog being used and exploited. Dogs can be loved and help people feel unconditional love which these children who have been horribly abused by adults and can simply trust dogs easier should be able to find some healing by having this unconditional love and also be able to learn some job skills while working with them. Or do you think the women deserve to not get the healing they need simply because no one seems to want to help them. No wonder they often find the only love they get is from a dog. Some of you people here sure aren't showing it.

No, Police Dogs, Drug sniffing dogs are not being exploited, all their needs are met.... They are not being bred by people who do not know what they are doing. Who know nothing about genetics, yorkies, breeding, etc. Especially someone such as you that has no problem with putting a Tiny's life in peril, by breeding the hell out of her.....

As far as these women not getting the healing....lady you're preaching to the choir here. I've been in an abusive relationship, believe me I had no thoughts to take care of a dog....I could barely take care of myself, get myself together, years of therapy to come out of it.

The people on this forum have one strong bond in common....the love of their dogs and the betterment of the yorkie breed. I am my dogs steward....I take their life very seriously and don't breed willy nilly........as your intentions are to do.

first of all Dixie was not one of my puppies it belong to a friend of mine. And she replaced the puppy for her free of charge and let her keep Dixie. Nothing in life is perfect we all know this anyone can have a puppy with a flaw this could go back several generations and i know for a fact the lady that owner her never bred that pair of dogs again and retired the female from breeding as well as the male because she got this flaw. So this was all taken care of. Also she called the lady who purchased Dixie's sister and let her keep that puppy since she bought her as a breeder and told her she had to be spayed and she replaced that puppy to So i think this lady did all that she could to pevent this from happening again

this was the second private PM i received....I have two dogs... Which DID NOT HELP ME HEAL i did not get them until i was okay on my own. I could not take another responsibility on after all i needed was time by myself to think and heal myself. I was almost killed by my ex, i had all ribs fractured... i remeber staying in bed without being able to get out for days do to the pain and no medical care..cause how would they take me to medical care when he was the one who caused all my injuries... and a dog wouldnt of made me getting out of the situation better, it wouldn't of let me focus on me.. im not saying that it wont work in time.. im just saying that i dont find it to be what most women who have been abused and have problems need.

Women like me who have been abused in the past, what we need a a good friend to hear us not a dog... I got my dog when i was good, when i was finally happy again and in that my dogs have given me the biggest joy because i was happy before them and now with them and my husband my life in complete. but i do stress that this was AFTER i felt better about what i had been through, not before. And i have said it before i feel strongly about this.

The women I work with have been sexually abused usually from a very young age and over years. They have been forced into prostitution which is a much harder form of abuse to handle because it is not just one person that does this to you. The women I work with have to work their way up to even starting to open up to another person. One well known psychiatrist who works exclusively with these victims has a small dog he takes with him into his office during his sessions. He says the women will often learn to talk to the dog and then work their way up to him. Where I got the idea when I started working with these types of women over 24 years ago. Whether you think it helps these women or not to be around dogs is not the issue. I am a good parent of pets and have been so all my life. The 1000s of women I work with have found benefit from being exposed to my small pets. But I am about to be referred even more who are mostly under the age of 18 and my one little dog isn't enough. For 24 years now I have helped many many victims. I know what I am doing. I also know how to take good care of dogs or any pet. I came here not to just get a few yorkies by someone who would let me make payments on their sales price but also to get the breeding, training and other advice and support I thought I could get from this community. None of anything I said was a lie or a story. You readers have just been twisting everything out of shape and accusing me of saying things I never said or taking things completely out of context or jumping to paranoid conclusions. I thought we were on the same side, caring about the yorkies and also caring about helping women with some of the benefits yorkies offer no differently than if I bought a german shephard to train to be a drug sniffing dog to work with me at the airport. These yorkies will be working with me to help damaged women get better after their ordeals under my supervision in the same way as the k9 dogs would do for the airports and no one accuses them of these things.
