I am quite sure she knows this. I am beginning to think there is some button pushing going on here. I am going out...have better things to do. This woman is playing everyone...whether for real or not. Matters little. She is fully aware that she is upsetting people and continues ... now she has passed on to the next button pushing topic: Teacups. blah |
first of all. all of us started some where when we got started but the more i think about this maybe it would be better for you to start out with older dogs that are ready for people to retire that are already nuetered or spayed and you could treach these woman groom and so forth or maybe speak to some rescue people that have rescued yorkies that have issues and these woman that have had issue may beable to help those yorkies because they would understand them this would be a much better way to satrt your program then ounce you have learned about the breed you could think about breeding. Anyone that breeds yorkies can tell you this is not a easy job what so ever you have to be there all the time with these dogs and the puppies as well. Please don't get me wrong i realize you are just trying to do a good thing for these woman but i honestly think this would be a better way to start all of this. |
Why i asked for teacups I asked for teacups not about money. I asked about teacups because the women I work with adore them. Most of them live alone and have small homes or apartments that have a 25 lb limit on the dogs they can own. No point in working with them to bond with a dog they can't keep. These women find teacups useful as they can take them with them when they see their therapist, are in the hospital recooperating from a beating or rape and the nurses don't mind, and they can take the dogs everywhere when they go out shopipng for example without leaving them home alone. These women also suffer from a great deal of anxiety and I have seen how being able to have the teacup with them allows them to keep the dog by their side without people at even restaurants complaining. A big dog would not accomplish this. Besides, I do have a very selfish reason for asking for that also. I am on SSI because of bad knees and a bad back. I have to be able to lift these dogs a lot, especially to give them regular bathes. I can not lift a big dog over and over day after day without straining my back. Nor can I handle walking a dog big enough to yank me all over the park. So these are the reasons why I want a small, or teacup, set of yorkies. |

You can rest assured, you will not be able to exploit our expertise in your breeding endeavors........you probably will be able to obtain more breeding dogs from here, as you've proven that we're not all here for the love of the dogs. Not all of us realize that these little creatures were placed in our hands to be good stewards and take care of them. |

Regardless to what anyone here says, I fear that you will view the lives of these dogs you are trying to acquire as nothing more than what you have described them as....a "project", something "profitable" where you can "train" those in rehabilitation. Truth of the matter is, if the reaons that you are claiming for wanting to start this "Project" are true, then you could achieve the same results by organizing volunteer opportunities with shelters and rescue organizations...and in a sense be helping two causes instead of one. |

I cant Believe this Natalie, I can't believe you are going to give away puppies to some one just starting out. When I ws just starting out you were recommended to me, we spoke for hours I purchased 2 dogs from you a male and a female for 5000. plus shipping, the female had a liver shunt that cost me $3000. to save her life, you replaced her with a nine pound female. In that same time frame (I should have waited) I purchased 2 more girls for 8000. plus shipping. One of which had a malformed vulva and could not be bred, you replaced her with a tiny female that you know I couldn't breed because I had one of you bigger males. You offered me a tiny male for a puppy from them I agreed but when it came down to it you told me you had him sold for 2500. and you needed the money. With of all the money I spent with you and on your dogs I'm sure you can afford to give a few away. |
