I just recevied my leather step-ins! Im so excited, they are gorgeous!

I dont know how many of you have shopped around for leather step-in harnesses but they are usually $60+ , well.......... I now have luxurious genuine leather step-ins with rhinestone bone details listed on my website for only $29.99:eek: :p ! I highly recommend step-in harness because they are easy to use, great to put on over clothes or to use by themselves and you dont have to worry about buying a harness and leash seperately, its all one perfect product!

Do they have a slide type thing that tightens it? Sort of like show leads

It has 2 parts that secure it, the leather just above the step-in and the leather bone slides up and down to tighten it, and it really does hold very well. And above the leather bone the lead has the swivel hardware (not sure what to call that) so your dog & the lead cant get twisted up. :)

I love those!!! So they come with the leash too? How long is the leash?

I didn't realize you had a couple of bags that are made for holding 2 dogs! I think I looked before? Anyway, is there one dual carrier that you would recommend for one reason or another (more room, more discreet, more pockets, etc)??

Yes it is all one piece so the harness and lead measure a little more than 52" so just a little over 4 feet :)

Do the harnesses come with directions??? They look confusing to me :confused:

No it doesnt come with directions but actually when you see it in person it all makes sense, I promise. The picture does look confusing. You just put your dog's front legs through the 2 holes and push the leather piece below the dog bone down to adjust the harness. I took pictures of my girls in their harnesses because I think that helps show how it goes on and how it fits once its adjusted.

So, the leash doesn't come off. I mean could you remove the leash and use just the harness?

I'm wondering the same thing. I like to walk my two with a coupler, and ONLY use step-ins. These are adorable, but I'd need to be able to use my own leash/coupler set up.

No this is all one piece, the leash can not be removed.

Im so sorry I missed this post. I guess I didnt see it after I was answering a different one.
I do have some carriers on the website that may be big enough to support 2 dogs and several of the carriers have mesh windows and opening on both sides of the carriers to help accomodate 2 dogs but first off let me ask, how much do your 2 dogs weigh, this can give me a better idea to help answer your question.

I looked at the Alex, the Pamela, Demi Flap Carrier in Black, Studded Bowler Pet Carrier - Black and maybe others. I think I like the last 2 best, with 2 roll down windows and 2 inside leash hooks.
My girls are 5 lbs and 4 lbs.

Well the only problem is I am not for certain if any of those carriers are wide enough to accomodate two dogs next to each other 4 & 5 lbs. The demi flap definetly wont be wide enough, its only 6". The alex bag and pamela are the widest of those four being 8" wide but I can not honestly say for sure if 2 dogs being 4 & 5 lbs would fit in it. My girls are 3 & 8lb and I know they wont fit in either the alex or pamela bags. But your 2 babies are smaller than my girls and if you do decide to give it a try and it doesnt work you can return it for store credit.
When I take both my little girls somewhere at the same time I use my stroller system which can also be used as a carrier as it does come with straps(and can also be used as a carseat which I really like). I was going to mention this in the response I made earlier to your post and then decided to wait until I knew the size of your dogs (although I just realized I still left the picture attached to the post, LOL) Petote also has a line of carriers with dual side openings and mesh windows and thier large size carrier is almost 9"wide, length is 17" and height 11.5, I think this might work. I can special order one if you are interested, they are not listed on my website but I can send you pics of all the color options. Here is an example of one:

Shana can you tell me how much shipping would be to the Uk...also Lottie is just over 5lbs but quite slim so what size would I order?

I dont have international prices memorized as the website just figures it out per order, but I think standard international shipping would be around $5 if you just got that one item. It could be a bit more if you order more items.
For size I would go with the smaller one(3-5 lbs) These harness are really adjustable so Im sure it will fit.

Why is the 6-10# harness more expensive than either the larger or smaller one? :confused: I know, I know, my curiousity gets me in big trouble. Its strictly a nosy question as both of mine are under 5#. I just couldn't help wondering??

Im so glad you saw that and said something. Most of the time there are always slight price increases for each size up becasue cost are higher more leather (in this case) being used etc. BUT this was actually a mistake on my part. These particular harnesses are all the same price and I have no idea how that $3 fee got on that one size only. Im so glad you caught that and Im so embarrassed I didnt catch it myself :embarasse

I LOVE those harnesses Shana and that is a great price!! What exactly are the color choices that you have? And sizes? I am assuming the larger harnesses have thicker leather? And you are right they are wonderful to go over clothes:)

I bought 4 of these over the last couple of years and I paid 60+for them so anyone that does not snatch these up is crazy LOL!

The only current color choice are brown & pink, Im hoping later the manufacturer makes even more colors. The brown and pink are gorgeous though!
