| That's great isnt it? Most pub's here are pet friendly, most pub owners have a dog with them in the pub I know of a few restaurants that are pet friendly I think we are quite lucky here.

| you sure are! when we are in france i love it because even the hotels dont refuse dogs, restaurants bars everywhere a dog can go but UK is another story... they arent welcome.... thats why this world is the way it is, because people are so selfish! what harm can a little dog do in a restaurant? he is nt going to pee on everyones food..... give me a break! |

| My brother inlaw owns a restaurant in town here, i have spoken to him about dogs and restaurants, he told me that, if the health inspector walks in they could get fined, but they worry more about the kitchen and hygiene, so they can't do much about a dog laying next to the owner or in a bag. He is an animal lover, and as long as the dog behaves and is not all over the place they are very welcome. In most places the waitress will serve the dog a dish of water without the owner having to ask for it.
