Are there ant Irish on here at all
 
My name is Pauline,
I am the Mommy to two 15 weeks old Yorkie puppies ... Pixie and GI Joe.
I live in Tipperary with my hubby and puppies ... I am new to Yorkie talk and I would love to meet some Irish Yorkie parents as well as lots of others from around the world too!

Welcome to YT! I live in the US but I have Irish roots!! :). My grandmother was part Irish.

It nice to meet you. What part of Ireland do you know? I love love the States. We have visited NYC, Boston, Spencerport, Washington DC, San Francisco, Paso Robles, Aliso Viejo, Santa Ana, Las Vegas, L.A. ... and a few more States. I love the US folks ... they are so nice and very welcoming.
Have you ever been to our shores?

I never have been there but would love it!! Maybe one day in my future. You have visited a lot of places! BTW, my name is Rhonda. :). Rosie Marie and Mikki Leigh are my Yorkie girls.

Yes we love to travel ... thank goodness we both love it! We have visited Canada, Moscow, Belarus, China, Slovenia ... and the list goes on ... if we get money together we try to have a holiday and see somewhere new every time we got away.

John is my second hubby and he loves ot travel just like I do. I have much more in common with him then I did with the first guy I married who was a Beep Beep! It fun meeting new people and trying strange foods.

yes I know how you feel my Yorkies are my babies too ... so lovely to have them :)

Welcome to YT. Would love to meet your two fir kids! I have some Irish in me since both my grandmothers were Irish. My husbands grandmother on his mothers side was also Irish.
I love the states too and CA. is my most favorite place of all. ;)

That is very sweet of you but I'm not sure how to add a photo to YT. I will check it out again today and see if I can add a few photos. I would love to meet your girls too. What wonderful names they have! Do you have any idea what parts of Ireland your relatives come from? I love CA too .. what a wonderful place to live

i didnt know there were so many from our wee island on here...
but helloooo!! **waves frantically**

me thinks that some day we should have a meet in the middle of ireland- our furbabies are small enough for carriers on trains after all! ;)

What a great idea you have there ... and as you said it wouldn't be too difficult to get our furbabies there by train or even in the car if need be. I would love to know how many Irish Yorkie Moms and Dads there actually are in Ireland ....

Ireland is one country Neil and I would LOVE to visit and we fully intend to do so in the next few years.....with our Yorkie too :D I imagine it has lots of glorious countryside and beaches to enjoy dog walks on :)

Ireland is definitely a place many people want to visit. On some beaches dogs are banned until off season like October evenings. Tramore in Waterford is one of those places. We have many walks and beautiful places to be seen. The only thing Ireland is missing is the weather .... but this summer is behaving itself so far, so we are all happy here :)

I think most beaches do the "ban dogs" in the summer, we have a few beaches along the coast that don't, although can never understand why they still allow horses on the beach all year round...not to point the obvious but they make so much more mess than dogs.
Hope all are enjoying the warm sunny weather...

Hi Claire,
I agree .. there were less health issues when I was growing up and dogs were never banned from beaches. Hospitals were cleaner, children were healthier ... makes you wonder as being healthy s pushed on us, why people are picking up infection never known about before!!

but stick on a wetsuit and nothing beats an october beach visit on the northwest coast- the body-boarding is fab if you go just a bit out, and then in the shallows the water is still calm enough for the doglet to play and splash (although i always recommend life-jackets all round!
