| Remember remember Remember remember, the fifth of November. Gunpowder, treason & plot. Ah well It's that time of year again. Hopefully with it falling on the weekend this year it might get it over with quick. Luckily, I'm not too bad with my lot at the moment. Only one is frightened, the rest are not fazed at all & the littlest one actually goes in the garden & tells off any rockets & bangers she can hear. Not always so, some of my older ones were petrified. One of my Old English Sheepdogs used to shake like a jelly & try so hard to get under our bed he used to lift it! |

| Hope your babies aren't too scared? Are there many fireworks and are they all or mostly after dark?

It was Harry's first 'real' bonfire night - we held him and took him outside and showed him for an hour or so and it seemed to work - in the end he just stood out there sort of gazing at the sky and waiting. Just those 'screamer' ones he hated (mind you, so do I!! ). As was said - hopefully, as it fell on a Saturday this year, that'll be it - or at least the bulk of it for this year! Sally + Harry x | |
