Actually, I did copy it to the yahoo group photos section. When you click on the little picture, it gets big, then there is a link in the top left above the picture for "large" and it is as big as it is here! Thanks for all your work on the picture. It is perfect!

PS...don't forget it costs $5 to park, so have cash with you!

HI I was wondering what is the rules at this park ? Can dogs be off leashes? Its not an actual dog park is it ?We are excited to come and will definatly be there .

According to their website http://www.ocparks.com/yorbapark/def...Show=parkrules, it says "Dogs must be restrained by a leash at all times (6 foot maximum)", so I don't think there's an off leash area. Maybe that's safer for everyone's first meeting though?!

Do you know of a good off leash park for future meet-ups? I've never been to an off-leash park before.

The problem I find with off-leash dog parks is that they are only suitable for short visits. Most of them have no benches, no toilets, very little if any shade. I actually did a search on the web for dog parks in Orange County, and the two I found (suitable for small dogs), were very limited in their facilities - just a grassy area really and very little else. Parks like the Yorba Regional, and others have tons of grassy areas for puppy dashes

, walkways, benches, a lake, BBQ's, gazeboes/ shady spots,children's play areas, rest rooms, many trees, water fountains, etc, etc.
A plain dog park I would not mind going to for a short time, but anything over 45 mins, and my backside would need to hit a seat...LOL... thirst would need to be quenched

, and potty breaks (for me not the Yorkies) would be inevitable (and I don't do Porta-potties.

) For people driving a longer distance, I think staying only such a short time due to discomfort, would be a pity.

If you Mapquest it, you will find accurate directions to the park, and then use LaurenR's detailed Google Earth map attached above to see SPECIFICALLY where to park and meet once you get there. She's says it's a HUGE park, so we want to make sure we're all on the same page for where we're gathering, so we don't have lost YTers wandering around the park looking for everyone else. I'll PM you my cell number in case you have any problems finding it/us.

Also, go to the link below to add yourself to our Yahoo meet-up group, in case the YT server ever goes down again on the day of a meet-up. We'll have everything you need to know there...

Hi everyone! I wanted to post an updated list of who all is going to the meet-up on Saturday.

We have 10 "FOR SURE" humans so far, and 14 "FOR SURE" Yorkies:

There is a possibility that I may be out in the LA area this weekend!!!! Just maybe!! I am to pick up the beautiful maltese and we think tentatively this weekend?!? I would love to come!!
It may be a last minute decision on my part, but I would LOVE to meet with you guys!!!!
Corinne, don't get too excited, as I may not pick up this new angel till Sunday if I am indeed out there

Ohhhh keepin my fingers crossed!!!
That would be me and my 3 girls ... and my friend will come along for the road trip

Ok, I will keep you posted!! I haven't even looked over this thread to see exactly where you are meeting! Ha! So let me back track and hopefully I will know more about my schedule in the next couple days! I make last minute decisions all the time! Plus Sandy, the breeder, has a mommy due Friday - C section! So that will have to be considered too when I go see her...
