Northern Calif Yorkies
 

Hi, I hadn't checked the site in a while and was delighted to see the regional forums. Me and my Dusty live in the Sacramento area and would love to meet some friends. She was in a class at Petsmart last summer for small dogs and had a blast. I wanted to "borrow" the little mini daschound that was her best friend, for Dusty to bring home.

Dusty is female, aprox 15 months old. She is my first Yorkie and the love of my life. Everyone in the house fights to play with her. She fits right in, like she was meant to come to us. Her favorite thing to do, is to go outside and bark at the rottweilers on the other side of the fence. I've tried to tell her they could swallow her in one bite, but it falls on deaf doggy ears. After all, she is convinced she is the size of a Great Dane.

Welcome Dustydog! I used to live in Cameron Park and I grew up in Orangevale. I'm going up for my parents' 50th wedding anniversary June 4 but not bringing the yorkies. Where in Sacramento do you live?

the only park that i know of is a reg. park not dog park and that is at O'hara park school we should meet some time and let our babies play how old is your baby i have sebastain that is 2 years and 9 mos. and jasmine that is 2yr 5 mos.

I recently sold my home in chico and moved to the ridge :) I have lived in chico for 27 years, came here as a child w/parents and decided when I grew up I would live here :D I have a little boy Sami 5 1/2 months now, he is a little pistol, He is my new addition :) I have Tilly who is 10 yrs also a Yorkie.

He is a love love love. I could not be happier. are you able to see his picture? He is a baby tank....LOL

I'm looking for a playmate for him, but the money is tight. I am thinking of even getting a mix... because he needs a buddy so bad. He is so smart.....he sits, he goes down..he rolls over...with treats.
Other than that..he does what he damn well pleases. He is potty trained finally and does really good.
He terrorizes my old gal..and kinda why I'm looking for another. I'll see if I can attach a bigger pic of him.

Maybe between us..we could come up with a girly and a boy.....

Anyways......Marley has brought me sooooo much happiness.. so many laughs. He is scared of nothing..except the big ol serpents in his baby pool ( little duckies and fishies ).....

Oh he looks soooo much like his daddy Teddy. Teddy is very layed back and Rosie Mae (mom) is more active. Teddy does not like water but Marley took after mom as she has a kiddie pool and absolutely loves water. She will get in the hose while I am trying to water my plants.

No I am not looking for another. I have my three and had them all fixed. It was kind of sad to know there would be no more puppies but it was the best for Rosie. My dogs are only crated at night and when she came into heat it was well, it was not pleasant for anyone here lol.

I love to watch my kids play. Like Marley, mine make us laugh at their antics. I have never seen three dogs get along so well. They absolutely love each other and it is sooo awesome to watch. I bet Marley would love a playmate. It would help him leave your older baby alone.

Take care and give Marley a kiss for me. If you remember, he was the one I wanted to keep but 3 yorkies and we still have my mother-in-laws old dog and I could not deal with 5 dogs. But I know he went to the perfect home. For that I thank you.

No really ..thank you ..he's my heart....and Corkie is my soul. I love them dearly..

but yeah..I hope to find another baby soon...He just chewed my new shoes today!!!!

hello, my Tasia, is my daily companion. We live in Dublin, we don't really know much about the area so we hang out at the local small dog park, we'd really enjoy meeting other yorkies. My yorkie is a not as small as most she is 11lbs but she's my doll. yes she is full breed, she's just big i'm told, lol.:animal36
