That's great to hear! I bet your attached, aren't cha? lol :p These little cuties.. they have a way of sliding right in!

Oh i am totally attached. Normally a puppy is stressful and can be a pain but he has been so good. He just plays and plays either by himself or with our other dogs. He doesnt get under our feet like i thought he would. And he is a way better sleeper than i thought he would be. He sleeps all night long. And wakes up about 6:30 in the morning. He will go potty and then eat and play. Then takes a nap. Wish i had his life.

I was lucky on the crate training part. His mommy before me had already started him because he was being shipped. So he didnt mind being in his little room. I dont have a small crate for him. I got a bigger one so he could be in it and play. So far he loves it. We have a pillow at one end and a puppy pad at the other and for the most part he wont go in his crate. He will if its the last resort but every morning about 6:30 he wakes up and starts barking at me to take him outside to go potty and he does. If he is in the house just roaming around he will run around until he finds his puppy pad and go on it. couldnt ask for a better puppy. Every day is a learning experience with this little guy but i wouldnt trade it for anything.
Your puppy is wonderful. Very, very smart-- to call you at his age to go potty. They are amazing little dogs. My Yorkie is 12 yrs. old now, she has made us happy every day of her little life. She is the best thing that ever happened to us or anyone else lucky enough to own a Yorkie. One word of caution, anyone dog who eats too much human food (high in protein) can develope internal problems. So, careful on the table scraps. My CoCo now has kidney disease and we are beside ourselves with sorrow and worry. She has a sonogram on Saturday, to see how extensive it is. Bella loves her playyard. We bought the cheap one at Walmart $37.98 and she just loves it. We put a wee wee pad in it at one end and blankets and some stuffed animals to cuddle with at the other end.

Also we bought 2 baby gates (again walmarts $9.82) to close the kitchen off for her. She has a little pet den in there with stuffed animals, blankets and then not far away is her food and wee wee pads.

She loves her nylabones and also loves little squeak toys. Her favorite does seem to be my husbands slipper though

Also be sure to doggy proof the room she will be in. Bella will be in the kitchen when we leave but in our family room (where playyard is) while we are home. When we can't keep a very close eye on her she goes in the playyard (only cried the first couple minutes, never again). Make sure all cords, dust bunnies, papers, anything she can get in her mouth is up!!!
