anything on spice yet? |
Waiting, wondering...and most of all praying. |
bump.........prayers your way....any word? |
Thank you all so much for your care, concern, thoughts and prayers. I wanted to wait until my cousin arrived back home from their vacation in Mexico before I did an update, just in case Spice was home when they arrived.....but he wasn't  They can't find him anywhere and there hasn't been a single call on him....not one  We are kind of beginning to think that he may have been taken by a Coyote - they are really bad in California  The thought of it alone is just heartwrenching, but it could very well be a possibility :( Their hearts are breaking and so are the kids. I am in contact with a YT member about a Yorkie that he is needing to re-home due to him moving to a place that will not accept animals, so my cousin may be getting this baby. Everyone please keep your fingers crossed and say a prayer that everything with this little sweetie works out! Thank you all again for all of your thoughts and prayers - and Spice, wherever you are, you are greatly missed sweet boy  |
I am really sorry that Spice is still missing. I really hope they find Spice but if not, hope your cousin can adapt new baby who needs home.... |

They will never ever stop missing or loving Spice, but hopefully a new baby will help "heal" them a little, and the kids as well  |
Sad to hear Spice is still missing...I am so very sorry. |
Was checking hoping for good news. I\'m so sorry. I just pray that wherever he is, he is warm and safe..... wherever thay may be. |
I am also praying for the safe return of Spice....my heart is broken for you all. I can\'t imagine. Hopefully someone will come forward with some kind of news!? I admit the first thing I thought of when reading your post was the Coyotes....as much as I hate to think of anything like that. But they are such a problem in California. My family lives in Southern California and they all have small dogs and yorkies. The vets warn them all the time to never leave the dog unattended not even for one second alone in the yard because the coyotes are in the neigborhoods. One story was about my Aunts neighbor who had her dog on the end of it\'s leash for a walk, but the lady stopped to get her mail from her mailbox and as she was reading her mail she felt a little tug on the leash, and after a few minutes she looked over at her Bishon and it was gone...and running down the street was the coyote with her dog. It\'s really something for us all to think about no matter where we live because predator animals are all over and are getting so brazen. Another story I just saw on the news was about the rising issue of dog theft. They said that if someone approaches you and starts asking alot of questions about your dog, like how much is it?, what\'s it\'s name?, what town are you from etc. to be very wary. These are the things a would be dog-napper asks and will follow you home or just snatch the dog, especially the dogs that can sell for big money like yorkies, malteses, caviliers etc. It\'s unbelievable! Anyway...please keep us posted on any updates and sending lots of prayers and good thoughts!! ~hugs~ |
Thats so sad, prayers going out to spice\'s family. |
