hi just a note to tell everyone, sorry for what youve been thru, my experence was ,i went to go see a puppy, it was very expensive, this was 7 years ago,i found her on the net, and was thinking on puchasing, a female, well when i drove up , the smell was so overpowering, i had to hold my breath, she has outside runs that looked decent , but the smell of urine and the feces in the run was terrible, what adults i saw were shaved so i had no idea what theyd looked like before, , and the pup looked fair but sick to me, and i did hold it for a minute, i almost took the pup to get her out of there, but i was sure id nevr get papers as she didnt have them yet and that pup was already 12 weeks old, i said to call me when she got the papers, i wouldnt put money down like that either, i handed her the pup and left, as i got out of the area, i cried thinking of all those dogs, they looked so sad, not at all what i planned, and it broke my heart to leave that pup, but gut instinct took over and i just had to leave, i cried for those dogs, and swore id never be like that, and keeping them, in looked like ample space, they were outside and it was a bad thing, i actually had to stop at a gas station to wash off the smell from holdin that pup, i could smell it for quite a while, i learned to trust my judgement, not to say that iits always bad, just , this time, in this case,, jim

I really wouldnt advise it ever, with anyone. Not after what happened to me. Its best the actual purchaser talkw with the breeder and does their own research. Live and learn.
The breeder is not a she, he is male. The name is mentioned in this thread, by another poster, if you would like to know it.

I am sure this is an old thread, BUt... I emailed fonda quite a bit, I was thinking of getting a male from her as my stud. I am still looking for my own stud, it is very hard to trust these days. I had bought from Kim brock, he was not good, I gave him to my best friend to love as a pet, I did not just have it in my heart to resell him, so it was a huge loss to me both emotionally and financial. I just needed to know he was in a home where he would be top dog, and so loved and pampered, my friend could not have children due to ovarian cancer.
My friend is in love with him, and for this I am also very happy.
So I am still looking for the right stud. pooh's mum

Wow!!! That Kim Brock name is very familiar. I was told not to buy from her over 20 years ago. I have forgotten the details, but am so surprised to see that name after all these years.

She's been mentioned several times on here and even joined...but got banned to multiple user accounts (or was it attacking someone...can't remember for sure).

I know of someone that bought a male from her and he ended up being monorchyd. Just do a search...

she isn't out of business. I met her for the first time and talked with her at ashoww in November. She is still selling but keeps saying she is going out of business. hasn't yet tho.

Yes she says she is getting out of the business but thats just a ploy to sell her older dogs when she wants to make believe you are getting something fantastic for a reasonable price -

I know from first hand experience - ouch - got burned bad

you are right! She pulls this about once a year. isn't out of business yet but seems to be getting more interested in the Frenchies. That's all she had at the show.

I got an 18 month old gal out of her that after 9 months still goes in circles occasionally. I don't think she ever saw the outside of a kennel. She has bonded with me and is learning to play with the other dogs. She had a litter in Oct. that is very nice and she's an excellent dam. I wouldn't buy an other dog from her though because it just breaks my heart to see a companion dog that neither knows how to be a companion nor a dog.

I bought 3 yorkies from the same breeder. A young male, and 2 adult females . The females were suppose to be free whelpers. I bred one female to a friends dog. The female ended up needing a section and the vet called it to my attention that she was cutting through scar tissue implying that this wasn't her first section. I almost lost her, I did lose 1/2 the pups.She pulled through and is doing good now. I had her spayed. My second female has a scar as well. The vet told me to rub alcohol on it and it will really show up if it is a scar. She was right!!!!I also showed this to a yorkie breeder friend of mine to get another opinion on what this scar could be. She said she would have to say that this female had been sectioned at one time. This breeder still denies that my females ever had a section. Said that I could ask her vet but, does her vet know which Anne he has seen as she has advertised so many as being named anne? I'm wondering if she even knows which ones have had sections?? When they came they didn't even have the right birth dates on thier health certs. I hate to say something negative about another person, especially an elderly but I feel that I was totally taken here. I could never be so dishonest.
