I was not mentioning my "friends name" because I purchased a stud from them, I had no problems with the papers and I am pleased with my yorkie boy. After the postive experience, I thoroughly trusted this breeder. THe problem started when I trusted them in a purchase with another breeder and from there it all went downhill. So I cant grip about my friend or their personal dogs. Because that all went well. I am very pleased with my stud. But for buying a yorkie thru them, as a third party.......I certainly would not advice it. I really wouldnt advise it ever, with anyone. Not after what happened to me. Its best the actual purchaser talkw with the breeder and does their own research. Live and learn. The breeder is not a she, he is male. The name is mentioned in this thread, by another poster, if you would like to know it. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/sho...t=34605&page=2 |
fondarosa ?? can you tell me do you still have these puppies? are they sick? the only reason for me asking this is i also have dealt with fondarosa. she is a real piece of work. some of you may remember my little sallie past away. i purchased her from fonda. she never once told me that sallie was sick until i after i received her. this is fonda from kentucky, correct? anyway sorry to hear that another person has had to deal with her kelly |

Kelly ( My name is Kelly too), I did not purchase puppies. My girls are adult dogs and they are alive and happy as I speak. Any health problems right now they have are being addressed. Right now they feel good, and are a couple bouncey stinkers. Yes this breeder is named Fonda and yes she is from Kentucky. :embarasse  |

Kelly, Did Fonda not guarantee the dog your purchased? I honestly would proceed with either Fonda replacing the puppy that passed away or refunding your money. Some states have what is referred to as "Puppy Lemon Law States", but I do not believe that Kentucky is one of them yet. I am including a link that does give the states and what is required from a breeder. It has maltese in the link, but it includes all dogs and breeders! http://www.malteseonly.com/lemon.html I truly am sorry about your puppy. |
fonda thanks for the link. she wouldn't refund my money without the autopsy which i didn't get. but that night i received her she went into a coma. i called fonda and she told me that the puppy was hypoglycemic and that she has only done that 2 or 3 times i forget. so my problem with her was that she never told me this so i could decide if i wanted a puppy like this.she did tell me that first night that i could return sallie to her if i pay shipping and if she arrived healthy then she would refund me the price of the puppy. but i could no longer trust this women. well she was 6 months when i purchased her and and she died 6 months after that. she went into a coma. the vet believed it was caused by liver shunt. but couldn't guaruntee me that. they said that a dog that age should have grown out of the hypoglycemia and the fact that i always gave her nutracal. |

I'm so sorry for what you have gone through. You are a special person to take on this responsibility after being lied to. I hope that she feels better soon. |

Well Fonda of Fondarosa if you are reading this "I hope you sleep well at night!" What you done to Kelly and John is unspeakable! Do you know who the sire and dam are to the puppy you lost? |

fonda thanks! the dams name was happy little song. |
I'm so sorry for all you have been through with this breeder. My puppy was bred by Jendas but his Dam is from Fonda. You have my sympathy. My Yorkie was misrepresented by his breeder. It's heartbreaking to think you are getting a healthy dog with a great temperment and end up with a nightmare! Jessica |
So Heartbreaking!!!! So Unfair!!!!!!! Totaly so un fair!! A good breeder would never place a puppy like that, they would keep that baby and give it the care it needs till it dies. I would think a responsible breeder would never let a puppy like that be sold, it will come back to bite them in the Butt! Are breeders so hard up for money that they will sell anything just to make a few dollars, what about your reputation!!!!! My heart goes out to you, no one should have to go through what you and Jessica have gone through, a puppy should bring happiness into your lives not tears, worry's and sorrow, not to mention the extra cost of caring for the poor baby! I sure would stay clear of that breeder and am glad to have all the warnings, hopefully no one else will have to go through that heart ace, and will do all the research necessary, even than you can be fooled, but you know the breeder knows what they are putting out there, makes me sick to my stomach and breaks my heart for anyone that has to go through that with a sick or vicious puppy, that they paid an arm and leg for, you pay are for a perfect little healthy bundle of joy. Again so sorry for both of you! Donna Jean |
I wanted to update you all on this circumstance. This breeder contacted me and I spoke to the AKC and her kennel name is cleared. I can get the registration papers on these girls now:) I was very upset over the situation and it took a long time to resolve. But she was good to her word and she made it right. And I would like to thank her for that and give credit were credit is due. |
I'm so happy for you!!!;) Thank goodness everything turned out fine... Kisses, Katiuscia & Maggie...:happyboun |
