You should get in contact with a news station so they can go to her house with a tv crew and get it on tv. That would shake her tree. |
I'm glad your pup is ok and it sounds like she should be closed !! I do have to ask though. When you go to a house and the pups, beds and blankets look terrible, why do you buy a pup from her? I wish buyers that see stuff like this would say. Your place is a mess and your pups look sick and matted. Tell her to clean up you act and walk out !! Send a message that this type of care is not ok. I feel so bad for those poor pups. It's like a catch 22. You want to save the poor pups but you are supporting her terrible breeding practices. If people wouldn't buy from petstores or breeder such as her , that would be a way to put her out of business. I hope you find a legal way to close her down, and again I'm glad your pup has you for a mom and doing well now. :) |
I have a very sad story but too long to write. I would love Jill Brooks info so that I can inquire about puppies. |

This makes me so sick! |
What is the latest on this breeder and thread? Did the maxes_mamma ever hear back from her to look at a puppy? I'm from Evansville and just now read the entire thread. Let me know if there is anything I can do. If maxes_mamma wants help, I would go with her. So sorry about all of this. Glad the two pups at the beginning of thread are doing fine. |

Martinsville Breeder My friend just bought a puppy from Lois 2 weeks ago our vet said this was the sickest pup he had seen in years, Lice infested, bleeding rectaly and full of parasites eating his little insides. I am so angry. I called her today and she informed me that she has several male yorkies for sale. I called the animal control but wonder if that is a wasted call. How do we shut her DOWN: This is pure and simple neglect. Lois told my friend she sold her the cockapoo so cheap because she could not take care of him. Then hung up on her. Lois said she could bring her back the puppy but she did not have any money to give her but she would give hime his meds and call her when he was well enough to come home. What would make a person think you would take a baby back to that mess. That would be like giving a child back to someone who almost beat them to death.:2omg: |

Hi Lisa, This is Jill Brooks. You can email me at jillrene99@hotmail.com I have one Mommy...who just gave birth (literally two hours ago) to a boy and a girl. I have another Mommy who is due within the next week...she is having 5! She is 4.5lbs prepregnant weight...so you can imagine the surprise when I saw the sonogram for 5 puppies!! The dad, Jake is 3.5lbs.. so my guess is they will be the size of Junebugs...LOL!! Anyway...you can email me if you think you are interested in one of mine. Thanks! Jill |
Question... Can anyone give me an answer to this....if you go to someones house to buy a puppy and the house is nasty dirty inside and stinks and there are dogs running everywhere and the people don't appear clean, then why would you buy a dog from them? I noticed in the pic from her listings on puppyfind that the door in the background looked like it had crap all over it. I would never buy a dog that the house was unclean & nasty because chances are if they dont take care of cleaning their house, they arent taking care of their dogs properly. Just my opinion. |
I live in OH and have read this entire thread hoping that by the end this HORRIBLE woman would have been shut down, put in jail, tied up by her feet and beaten. But for some reason the authorities are dancing around her. They have had numerous calls of sick puppies and have yet to act UNANNOUNCED which is what they need. I too agree that the undercover news needs to go in. not the local news. DATELINE OR 20/20 with hidden cameras. We got one of our dogs from a "rescue" which seems awful similar to these horrible breeder situations and our lab mix puppy almost died within two days had it not been for rushing her to the vet. Our little "yorkie" was given to us by our niece, who bought her in Sugarcreek (Amish country) by a breeder named Carlos. :confused:Anyone know any amish guys named Carlos? Me either. My dogs are all healthy now, thank goodness, but what of the hundreds of thousands that are still being sold? And why doesnt anyone in authority seem to care?:cry2: |

Because $$$ is more important to the authorities than the life of animals. They are just property and are treated that way. As long as we have lobbyists and breeders who will crush any reform this will continue. There are laws out there without any meat in them or $$$ to make them work. Unless the public gets serious about these inhumane conditions...it will continue. |
I only read the first page so I don't know if this was posted Rip-off Report: Four Paws Kennel: Lois Hancock WARNING! Very SICK Puppies... Lois Hancock is a FRAUD! Martinsville Indiana I am so sorry for your friend. Most puppy mill pups check out in the puppy exam it is later you find the problem. One thing and the only thing this terrible economy may be good for is putting these mills out of business:thumbup: |
