She ships alot of her dogs, but for the people who go to meet her and they see this situation, why on earth dont they run?? I'm sorry, I would never hand over $1000 to a person who is living in filth, who has poor babies on a front porch. BIG RED FLAG!! But still, people are keeping her and other breeders like this in business. So so sad! |
Thanks Missy! Quote:
This whole situation is just terrible. I wish someone would shut her down and rescue those poor animals. Thank you Missy for your kind words and recommending me. I do have one little boy from Daisy and Jake left. He is 10 weeks old now. |
Any updates on this situation?? My mother-in-law bought her "yorkie" from this woman....My mother-in-law sadly didn't do her research before getting the puppy and didn't how things were suppose to go, even though she told me what was going on and I warned her. Anyways, she got the puppy when it was 6 weeks old!!! He was sick, and she had to take him to the vet I can't remember what was wrong with him other that he was too young.... He was also out of a litter of 10! OMG she told my M-I-L that was a normal size litter! He is fine and he's 4 years old and 15lbs, she told my M-I-L that he was going to be a standard size yorkie (her standards 12-15lbs) and not a t-cup yorkie (4-6lbs).LOL she still insists my 5 pounder is a t-cup! I know there are yorkies out of the standard (t-pots;) ) but this dog doesn't even look like a yorkie but more like a silky terrier and even another breeder told her that not just me! Despite it all Toby is a good and healthy dog, and she loves him to pieces, it's just sad that there are so called breeders out there like that, that will be so decietfull:mad: I feel bad for your friend and hopefully you can get the word out and no one else will be tricked into buying another one of her dogs! |
And also, I don't know if you seen the barn, but that's where she keeps her dogs, and she has a lot of them! |
breeder The first thing to be done is NOT buy from breeders like this...they have no reason to change, people are buying their pups..I wouldn't spend any funds to improve my kennel would you??..no one buys, the breeder is out of business in a very short time... |

If I knew what else to do, I would do it. As far as Baby Ellie goes, she is doing great, I went and took Lillie over to see her a few days ago and she is as big as Lillie now! She is so cute and so playful! Her and Lillie just adore each other! Penny was very very lucky! I think Ellie is a miracle baby! |
vet When buyers ask for a vet reference, what does the vet day? I would never buy from anyone unless I got a vet reference..if a vet gives a puppymiller a good reference, then you can inform the vet and believe me they are worried about the bottom line..staying in business... |
people who are new to buying a puppy don't think of calling the vet and asking for refernces. I was told from Animal Welfare that AKC was calling this breeder and telling her they were coming to meet her, so she was prepared for them which I think is stupid cause when the police do a drug bust, do they call the druggies and say "hey, were coming to see if you have any drugs" AKC needs to do a un-expected house visit on her. |
I just came accross this thred and I thought i'd say a couple things. I was going to by from this lady but did my research and decided I wouldn't have a puppy 6 weeks old shipped! Plus 6 weeks is to early to be taken away when they are a small breed and any respected breeder will not let a puppy go at 6 weeks. So I did not end up getting one of her pups. Also, have you thought of going in under cover or since she knows you, have some one else go there pretending to be looking to buy a puppy from her and have tham take pictures or even bring a animal control officer with them to get her busted? Just a thought, please keep me informed. |

My "6 week old" puppy arrived starved, flea infested and coccidia ridden. Not only did this dog cost me a LOT of money, also cost me TONS in vet bills. I am so pissed thinking about this whole situation. I think their should be licenses or something to become a breeder. |

Everytime I think of this situation it just pisses me off even more. And then no one wants to do anything and this trash of a woman is still breeding. |
I just now saw this thread and read it...GOOD FOR YOU Trying to do something for those poor dogs. Keep trying and maybe write your local newspaper and radio stations too....We need FOX news on this one lol - but you're doing really good not giving up and I'm so glad the puppy is ok now...coccidia is NOT normal and shouldn't be made light of....that woman makes me sick and I truly believe people like her will pay one day for how they treat animals.... |

I just looked up this scank on the internet and there is an ad on a site called breedersclub.net. There is a contact for the site. Why don't we all email the site explaining the horrible conditions that exist. There is also a contact email for this Lois Hancock and we could inundate her with nasty emails on accounts from yahoo ect. Hehe is a link to the web site:http://classifieds2.breedersclub.net...age=out&id=983 |
