Buyer Beware of angeliccanines I bought a dog from this lady a little over a year ago and received a very sick dog. I had the dog for 2 month it started having severe seizures. She would not stand behind this dog she bred. The dog was inbred and I don't think this woman had enough to knowlege to know what she was doing. I also have spoken to several other people who had bought sick dogs from her as well. She lives in the backwood of S.E. Missouri and had 25 plus dogs keep in cages outside in a shed. and most know missouri is a puppymill state. She use to go by the name of delmacyorkies but has since changed her name. So if you are from Missouri and plan on buying a new pup.. I WOULD NOT buy from Debbie McCabe www.angeliccanines.com. |
I'm so sorry. You really should report her to the BBB and the ASPCA if she is selling sick puppies and has them living outdoors - the weather is so extreme there I can't even fathom what it's like in the winter and summer. Can you repost this in the Breeder Review section so others can see it ? How is your puppy now ? |
The male I bought from her was to be use as a stud. I spent several hundred dollars to get the pup on the right meds, screened about 30 people and placed him Free to a Dr. and his Wife (a nurse )who also had a Yorkie. He was fixed and living with them now. I would not think about breeding the little guy and passing the condition on to someone else. I just want to warn others to be careful if they are thinking about dealing with this woman. |
please crosspost this in Breeder review section with the kennel name(s) as a heading to help others that may be looking. |
sick well i couldn't get into the website to see it ut why in the world would someone sale sick puppies?! it makes you wonder how the parents are if they have health problems! shame on this person for treating all those dogs that way . hopefully what goes aroubd comes around will happen quickly and maybe someone could get some help & decent homes for all thise dogs/ puppies! |
The truth always comes out The truth always comes out. |
Everyone please go to the website and read the story. How very sad. |
What website are you talking about. I find it very odd that a bunch of new people have come on here in the past few days, most from the same two states, and started either bashing or upholding someone that has been bashed on this forum. This forum is for breeder reviews not personal vendettas between two or three people. |
go to this site Maybe you should read the story on http://www.angeliccanines.com |

I would say this is funny but the truth is it’s just plain pathetic. You may spin things as you wish but the fact remains you know what you did and so do I. I thought your experience of feeling taken may have humbled you some what but I see your still the same. What a shame. Playing the victim Is not your strong suit as far as I’m concerned. and every one here can make up there own minds about that. I was at your house saw your setup and it was not pretty. I really hope you have upgraded for the sake of the dogs in your care. I am not the only person you have sold sick dogs to. I just happen to be the only one who came forward with my dealing with you. My vet said the dog you sold me was not wire right in the head. Plain and Simple. Which was what caused the seizures. Now would breeding a half brother to a half sister cause it ?? My question to you is why was it done ?? My guess would be to get those tiny dogs.. Your dealing with people leaves a lot to be desired. EX business partners having to take you to court to get his half of money back from starting your dog business.. And his mother was the one who made the comment that you was as about as religious as a snake. Your EX friend who you had bad dealing over a dog. Who I might add also stated the same thing about the religious thing. Do you see a pattern here. I have nothing against someones religious belief but I don't feel it should be use as a selling ploy. Because it gives those who do believe a false since that someone would not take advantage of them. You and some of your friends tried to run me off other board but it didn't work. When trying to explain things… I was called a KNOW IT ALL. Sorry to say ..I don't know it all and that’s why I continue to studying the breed. Maybe you should try it sometime. I have a clean record and happy customers when it come to breeding. Something you can not say because I am one of your unhappy customers. I or no one else can tell you what type of breeder to be but I can tell my story and hope that who ever buys from you does so with Great Care. All of this could have been avoided .. if only you would have done the right thing in the first place. |
Humm...... I don't know what to say... Hopefully the little yorkie is doing okay... |

I seen him about 3-4 weeks ago and he is a cute little thing and well taken care of. I'd post pics but afraid they would be used for some else's gain. |

I'm very new here...I've had my Quincy for a year now...and just found this forum out..its pretty cool...but I have found that yes there are alot of people on here trying to make others look bad...and I'm sorry but I have been around good breeders for a long time and sometimes things happen..but it doesn't mean they are a bad breeder...and I'm so sure that the person that got hurt is feeling that they weren't done right by...but wish that people wouldn't bash people...just doesn't seem right to do that....their are so many breeders here and I'm sure they have had something happen to them...sure would be sad if someone did something to hurt them because one or two people weren't happy..what about all the others that are happy??..Oh well I probably shouldn't have said anything being a newbie and all...but its just something I've notice...Glad the puppy is doing good..*s* |
Most of the older member here remember my thread about this person but some of you newbie don't. So Here is my response to what she wrote. As they say there is always 2 sides to every story. You can read it here and make up your own minds. http://www.freewebs.com/macsyorkies/...liccanines.htm |
I've got to put my 2 cents worth here. I don't understand why people are upset for this thread. Sherry (Yorkiegirl2) is doing as others have...warning people to beware of this breeder. Sherry is the breeder of my Libby Rae of Sunshine. She is a very responsible breeder and loves her yorkies. Libby has had no health problems, but I know that if she did, Sherry WOULD answer her phone when I called. She calls often to hear updates on Libby and loves to get pictures. I'm not the only one that has gotten a yorkie from her that she keeps in touch with...she is interested in knowing how all the puppies are that she has placed. As for you, animal1...you could have answered your phone when Sherry or her husband called you, but you chose not to, once you found out the little one was having serious problems. Responsible breeders don't sell sick puppies and then ignore phone calls and emails. If I bought a puppy that turned out to be sick, with no replies from the breeder, you can bet I would post it here for all to see. I have never gotten a sick puppy, but for those that have, I know it's very emotional, heartbreaking, worrisome and so very frustrating when there is lack of concern on the breeder's part! Yes indeed...I would be spreading the word if it happened to me! |
     good post Connie - and that's why this section IS here - posting reviews from personal experience GOOD OR BAD should not get anyone bashed - Yorkiegirl2 shared what happened to her and if it were me and I was looking for a breeder in that area - I'd def want to see others reviews |
when you are dealing with the consumer, not everyone will be happy no matter how good you are. there may be a thousand happy customers and one unhappy one. you always here from the unhappy customer. there is always two sides to a story. this is why we continue to state....research your breeder. you cannot take one unhappy consumer and believe the it to be the absolute truth. this goes for anything you purchase. so when we are speaking about dogs, do your research on the breeder and do what you feel in your heart. i do not like these threads where someone is bashing another person without the other ones knowledge. i think it would be only fair for both to be able to tell each side of the story. |

i would like to see it the way someone else posted. When a review is posted, good or bad, the thread should be locked. if another person has a "reveiw' then they make another thread, then that is closed and etc. this fighting would stop then. The good and bad ones would be posted but all thee other people couldn't jump in and start something. |

Breeder review is just that to educate people and keep them informed. Posts are posted good or bad, it's up to individuals to make up their own mind. |
