I thought it was better to use a business in my childhood neighborhood than a chain store. Now I'm guessing a chain store would stand behind their work much better than BWB has.

I took Princess in for a body shave, tail left long, legs trimmed but left long, ears tipped & no work to be done on the face. I pointed to the areas as I articulated my wishes so they were very clear. Perhaps I should have drew a diagram.

I called at about 10:45 & she said to bring her in asap as she closed at noon. I returned at noon only to be told she hasn't even been started, to come back at 1:30. They later call & tell me to come at 1:45.

I arrive & they have you pay first which I think is odd for a service like this, but not sure. Then they hand me Princess & are basically walking out the door so I get in my car & look at her. OMG!:eek: They have trimmed her face, the hair by her eyes that just grew out so it did not bother her anymore, the sides were uneven & her ENTIRE beard is missing! There is still hair on the sides of her ears!

Princess wants nothing to do with me & I think it's because she needs water, potty, freedom from the cage she was in for almost 3 hours. She does not resume normal behavior with me for over 24 hours.
I end up seeing that she has a cut on her vulva as she kept licking herself! I cannot imagine how extra stressful this trip must have been for her.

I called & explained just the issue of the haircut & Laura was rude, cold & short. She actually argued with me about what I initially told her I wanted done. Out of frustration & my own stewing anger I asked her what she does to rectify a very dissatisfied customer. She said she can't put the hair back, she'll trim the ears & take $5 off the next groom. NOT ONE TIME did she apologize! Not for messing up & not even for me being upset!

I did not tell her about the cut, the time issue & having to make an extra trip with gas at $4.19/gal. & also about how I heard a dog yip twice when I went at noon. I could not recommend anyone less. It is now obvious to me that this business is ran not for the care of pets but for the lining of her pocket.:thumbdown

I give her two thumbs & four paws down....and that concludes my opinion.
