If they were just a Cockapoo (which is still a hybrid) then you wouldn't need to list the mixes...now would you? |

My mentor was the vice president at the time and I was involved with confirmation, I took handler classes with my 2 cockers so I could handle my own dogs in the ring. I loved it! I enjoyed agility more though. The cocker I have now is 9 years old and I did not show her but she and I did agility and she just had a blast. Anyhow, this thread was about a rotten breeder and got kind of hijacked, partially my fault. So If you would like to chat further I would look forward to your (and others) PM's..:) |

A hybrid is a mix of 2 purebred dogs, not their offspring. How do you think breeds are made? just appear? A cockapoo multi-generation is just that, breeding with the start of a cocker and poodle, and then cockapoo to cockapoo and ONLY cockapoo to cockapoo. That is NOT a hybrid. ONLY a first generation (F1) is a hybrid. Please, if your going to jump on my butt, do it with some research first. and even if you don't agree with what I do, some respect would be nice. I have tried to show it to you. |

I am not calling you dumb. I said "want to play" I have no desire or need to list Cerise on Dogster. She is a well bred Yorkshire Terrier and I found her on Yorkie Talk from a reputable Yorkshire Terrier breeder. I am listening and  prehaps I am a bit prejudice towards those who purposely mix breeds, then later want to breed Yorkies claiming they will not mix them. There are a lot of people like me and hopefully in the future there will be more. I do hope you take this as constructive, not negative and in the future learn to breed Yorkies for the better of the breed and do away with the hybrid past. There are enough BYB breeders and hybrid breeders in this country all ready. We need more people who are really concerned with being ethical and humane towards upholding proper breeding. |

But, you are cross breeding, no matter how you paint it, in the world of responsible pure breed breeders it is unacceptable. Since this thread was hijacked and the full intent has gone off track. I don't think the thread should be closed, but get back to the intent it was started for. |
Stay away from Grubb Kennels in Miami OK. I bought 3 yorkies from this breeder and two got parvo 7 days after, one sadly died the other pulled through after spending $1400 on vet bills. She agreed to replace the one that died three months later. Only to find out the replacement has a collapsing trachea, a genetic defect. Can be corrected with surgery (another $2000) or be on lifetime cough syrup which is addicting. She also has not mailed the shot record or AKC registration. We have no idea what this puppy has had done or what he still needs, very unprofessional. Bottom line go somewhere else to buy your yorkies. |
