Yorkie mauled to death in Castle Rock PetSmart - KDVR
This is Buddy's story it is very sad , we ae living with it everyday.

I am so sorry for your loss. What a horrible thing to happen to an
innocent little dog. I hope something can be done to bring this
girl and her dog up on charges. It continues to amaze me how
someone can loose their beloved pet like this and nothing can
be done about it unless you spend a fortune on an attorney!
I am so happy I learned to groom my Yorkie. I don't have to
worry about these things because no one can be trusted IMO.

I am SO sorry, this is so tragic :(.

I know no amount of money can bring your baby back to you - but I hope a lawyer will get involved in this case, because sadly, this is not the first time this tragedy has happened. And that manager should *not* have brought her own dog to the shop, clearly :(, if that dog has behavioral issues.

Again, I'm so very sorry for the loss of your dear Buddy.

Oh my gosh, what a tragedy. I am so sorry for the loss of your beautiful furbaby. You took your baby to get groomed, how do the petsmart groomers let something like this happen??!! :mad:

So very sorry for your loss...I remember reading another tragic story involving a tiny yorkie who got killed by a Huskie at Petsmart or Petco grooming, can't remember which. They really should change/be more careful the way they handle the pets there.

Im so sorry for your loss. i also lost my pup at a groomers... i know how shocking it can be thinking your only dropping them off for a hair cut and not ever get to see them alive again.

I'm so sorry this has happened to you, I can't believe it was the manager's dog, there is just no excuse. I think you should be able to sue Petsmart and the manager. Dogs are too unpredictable, even a dog that hasn't caused problems in the past has been known to kill another dog. Why would they allow these two together? I'm really fearful for Joey when we are walking because he just doesn't back down, and Petsmart should know this about Yorkies. Thank you for taking the time to share your story, I think Petsmart needs to make some major changes.

Oh my God! I am so very sorry. I can feel your pain. It is so hard to know anymore where to take our babies, and how to keep them safe. Who would have thought taking your baby to Petsmart to be groomed, would end in something tragic. Oh how painful. My heart goes out to you and your family.

I'm so sorry:( This really made me cry! I've heard so many bad stories about petsmarts all around the globe, dogs getting killed or injured, they should be out of business already. This is not acceptable!

My heartfelt thoughts & prayers are with you in the loss of your sweet angel Buddy. I am so very sorry this happened to your innocent little guy. I am furious that others could be so careless towards the safety of our precious babies. I can only imagine that nothing will help ease your pain, but I hope that justice is served. omg, my heart broke for you reading this story...Petsmart are so so wrong to let any dog in their building be able to attack another dog.. why was the store managers dog anywhere near the grooming area to start with is beyond me..
I hope you sue them for neglegence and your lawyer makes them change their policies.. for this is not the first case I have heard of at petsmart..

I'm so sorry for your loss. Buddy was an adorable little guy, and I know you must be heartbroken. There is no excuse for Petsmart's behavior!:mad: I can't believe it was the manager's dog, but more than that I can't believe they would allow dogs that have not been temperament tested by a professional (much like they do at doggie daycares) to hang out together, especially with such a large size difference. Rest in peace Buddy.
