My sincere apologies to Celia of Northbrook Yorkies! :) I would like to take the opportunity to make a sincere apology to a wonderfully forgiving friend, Celia of Northbrook Yorkies. I hurt her and her business and I was wrong to do so. I said many bad things about her some months ago and would like to retract my statements and ask for forgiveness from her, as well as explain how I came to make the wrong judgements that I made against her while also not slandering the source of my misinformed information. I am truly sorry that I was easily manipulated into believing the horrible things that I said about Celia. I put my trust into someone who I now believe was jealous of Celia, and was manipulated into believing the lies I was told about her. I have also come to realize that one of the problems I bashed her about was caused by a pet accident instead of genetic defect and I was wrong to post otherwise. I should have discussed what I was told with Celia and gained a true understanding of these issues before I jumped to judgement and made these accusations. I have aproached the administrators and begged them to remove the original thread. I have explained repeatedly that I was misinformed and manipulated and was upset when I wrote the original thread. My attempts to have the thread deleted have failed. I attempted many times to make a rebuttal post and apologise, but since the threads are confusing, It has hurt Celias' reputation and in turn, her business. My relationship with Celia has been under much strain because of the mistakes I have made, and I am fortunate that she is a forgiving person and I wish to try my best to make ammends. I made a horrible mistake and put my trust in the wrong person, who easily manipulated me into believing such lies about Celia. After much conversation and apologies, Celia has been gracious enough to remain to be my friend. She is an excellent breeder and a wonderful person and I owe her much for the pain I have caused her. I would also like to make a recommendation to ANY family who seeks to purchase a new pet from her about how well her dogs are taken care of and loved, are bred for quality and health and great disposition. She strives to produce the finest in quality and is a woman of her word when it comes to standing behind her contracts. |
This person is trying to make a sincere apology and is to be commended for being brave enough to come on here and publically apologize. i know the history but if Celia iss willing to forgive, who are you to try to keep the nasty going. you should be ashamed and in my eyes, you owe this poster an apology. |

It takes a lot to admit when your wrong. I believe in forgiveness. It is easy to get carried away in the madness. I am proud of Celia for rising above and forgiving you. It takes a very strong person to forgive another especially when it came to her reputation and business. I hope that we all learn a valuable lesson in that this is a forum filled with strangers. We don't truly "know" one another. (for the most part) There is always going to be that one that will say and do whatever it takes to have a little drama in the room. Our true friendships that are found in Yorkietalk.. and outside of this forum should be cherished, guarded & protected. I think our society and others needs to get back to being more selfless. More than not we are more adamant in condemning someone for jumping on a bandwagon or for making a simple mistake then we are taking them by the hand and leading them out of the chaos. It seems like here and in general life people are out for blood over the silliest things. It is enough to turn my stomach! |
thank you all I made a big mistake, and I do want everyone to know my site will be taken over by my best friend karen from n2themysticyorkies as well as most of my Dogs, the male yorkies she is refering to like chance have been placed in pet homes, and I do not use them, noone in my home has ever even been in a cage or aboused in any way, you my at any time look me up at caldwell animal control in n.c as well as catawba county where I was born and rasied, my full name is Denise michelle mackey (Houser) divoresed remarried name Rucker also you may as well check with akc on these names, I have nothing to hide, I am however going to have back surgery for a blown disc, and have been blessed to recieve a female puppy Named Dancy with 40 champ in her line, she is 14 weeks old now, I will be keeping her as well as a puppy named lady from my origanl lines I started with over 12 yrs ago, and will be keeping Baily champ sired male 4 yrs old I have already placed chipper & Genna with my friend Tammy for morninghawlkyorkies and the others will be with karen, I still have my dream of going in show one day, with a line I bred , not a champ from someone else, I feed Bil-jac food by the way, so everyone will know, I have all ways used this food and my babies get cowhoofs and their teeth are brushed with oxifesh products, I give a 2 yr health garuntee and a puppy kit full of toy/blanets /bowls/leash and harness, bows potty pads as they are potty pad trained before they leave me as well as vet checked. I thank you to all who have benn understanding on this thread, as for the ones who wish to hate me, I am sorry they can't understand, as for greedy I sale my puppies around 500- 900 the most I have ever gotton is 1200 for I really tiny fm pup, none leave me untill they are 12 weeks old as well, but regartless I did make a mastake, and I do want to at least thank those of you who are willing to be so nice to understand, blessings to you all take care of your wonderful babies, and thank you for not judging me , and thinking I am some evil person, although what I did was a very evil thing! as for you who do wish to hate thats o.k I do understand how this my look but I had to do the right thing, Blessings to you all here, majesticyorkies:) |
Hey not one of us here is perfect. We all make mistakes, and yes whats done is done (yorkieisme), but the important thing is when we do make mistakes to own up to them, to make amends, and to learn from them, majesticyorkies did that, I for one would rather have a friend that can say Im sorry, I was wrong than one who acts like nothing happened. Hats off to you majesticyorkies for trying to make amends publicly. |
It takes only a small person to try to ruin a reputaion so darn easily on these forums.. It takes a big person to admit that they were wrong and apopogize.. The one reason I do not get so involved with people here is for this reason alone..Once things are written.. it is out there.. I have learned unless it involves me as a person.. I do not like to get into the bashing.. You did the right thing.. and I did not see the original thread..and I just hope the other breeder does not where this and hurt her anymore..judgements are passed too quickly.. and jealously in women IMO is ridiculously not warranted... anne |

You made a mistake, you owned up to it and said you were sorry. Celia forgave you. In my oh-so-humble opinion, that makes you both good people. It's not easy to say we're sorry, it leaves us open for rejection. But it is important and very good that you did so. We are all human, we make mistakes, and as my Mother used to say, (God Rest Her Soul) that our mistakes are the way we learn in life. I always tell people, "Be patient, God is not finished with me yet." God Bless You, and Happy Easter! Sheila |
Ceila and I have worked things out there is alot more to the story that she and I have choosen to keep to our selves so not to cause anyone trouble from the sourse to which the imformation in the original thread came from, this person we would to stay away from, this person has caused alot of heart acke to both of us and trouble too so I do hope somehow you all here can understand why we wish to leave the origianl trouble makers name out thank you all very much, Blessings to all of you here from both of us.. we are building back our friendship, And I do admit what I did wrong . I never should have posted anything neg. about anyone and never will again lesson learned! the hard way, thanks Blessings :) |

Each one of us needs to remember that there WILL come a time when you will need forgiveness. No one is perfect, and we all make mistakes. Forgiveness is the way we free ourselves to be happy. Here's a saying from Alexander Pope............'Teach me to feel another's woe, To hide the fault I see; That mercy I to others show, That mercy show to me.' |

That is so beautiful and so true. If we do not forgive, how can we expect God, to forgive us? It was Celia's place to forgive, and she has done so. I applaud Denise's courage, and her conscience, to come back and post her apology publicly. Easter is a wonderful time of renewal! Sheila |
OP I don't know what happen , I didn't read any thread about this but I just want to say that "is very easy to make mistakes but very hard to say sorry" You already did the hardest part ......... hope everything gets better for you. ;) |
Denise the step you took here in a public forum is to be commended, and Celia's foregiveness is very admirable to say the very least. I don't know about anyone else but, I myself have made mistakes in the past and I'm sure that somewhere in the future I will make many more before my life is over. I don't believe that I have seen the original thread and I have no intentions of looking it up. The fact that you came here and told everyone that you made a mistake and said you were sorry from your heart speaks volumes about the type of person you are. And for Celia to accept that apploigy over the fact that she had been hurt in anyway by the original post speaks to the world the kind of person she is. My hats off to both of you ladies and you both have my respect for being able to act in the manner that the Good Lord ask's us all to act. I believe that you are both being the bigger person's in keeping the name of the person who started the problem from the public. I am a firm believer in two wrongs don't make a right... Things of this nature are always best handled in private, may you and Celia have a long friendship. |
What you posted is not what people usually do. Most people will defend themselves even if wrong. I respect your post. Carol and Baby Jemma |
Blessings to all Thank you so very much for your post, Terri, you for sure! you are a wonderful lady! I no longer breed, I think I would like to go into rescue later on. I have placed my last fm Genna in a rescue, thanks to the loving people here answering my post for help with Genna, now she and her puppies will get the help needed, c section , and I won't have to worry about where the pups will end up, also the money the resuce makes from placing Genna and her pups will go to help liver shut yorkies get the operations they need to save thier lives how wonderful is that! I will get my next PET YORKIE , From celia as that is where my chipper came from and he will live out his days with me happy health and fixed lol. I have lost so much but gained so much from it. Life is wonderful, I need only to look at chip to see that! I would also like to tell everyone Terri is a great breeder as well and would recomend both she and celia to anyone. God Bless you all, for we all have one thing in common, the love of this wonderful breed the yorkshire terrier! Blessings |
Well let me just put my 2 cents in Celia of Northbrook Yorkies Gets my vote. I'm not a breeder But A well satisfied Yorkie dad. I bought 2 yorkies from Celia and they are the best. No health problems they both are very different dogs with great dispositions. Friendly not nippy like small dogs tend to be. Just loving Companions. I found this tread while searching for Northbrook Yorkies Because my son wants a pup. I would definitely buy from Celia of Northbrook Yorkies again. I saw first hand how she loves her dogs. Just had to sound off in Celia's defence Thanks Rocky & Rambo's Dad :aimeeyork |
Have the Administrators removed the nasty yet? and if not, why not? |

Northbrook Yorkies Anyone who has had dealings with Northbrook Yorkies and Celia can attest to her integrity and deep love of this breed. I have never had such a professional experience with a breeder before. I purchased my male from her back in February this year and she was as patient and informative before I traveled to pick up my pup as she was as after we brought him home. To this day, she is still interested in our little guy, and maintains the same enthusiasm about him now as she did prior to the sale. So I would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone. |
Celia Hello Rocky and Rambo's dad!! I adopted Tripp from Northbrook back in February. He is such a delight. AND he just became a daddy!! We have 2 females and 1 male!! I have seen your babies on her website and they are adorable. She has to be the most caring breeder I have ever dealt with. |
Celia Miller of Northbrook Yorkies If you are looking for information on Ms. Miller as to her integrity and ethics as a breeder, Please P.M. me and I will be happy to provide you with the information. |
