Dont buy from these people. Puppies for Sale by Still Kennel We bought our puppy from these people only to find out that he was the product of inbreeding a brother and sister. These people raise several breeds of dogs in tiny little cages and it is what I would discribe as a puppy mill. Please buyer beware! And they are not akc they are ckc. |
thanks for the heads up! |
If you click on link you can see this person doesnt even bathe the little ones for pictures and when you go to get one she shows them to you with feces hanging from them etc. I didnt know about puppy mills etc when we bought ours but I did know I could not leave him to die in that place |
:eek:OMG, They all look so sad!! I'm so glad that you got one of those poor babies out of there!! Bless you! |
They look sad and scared ...Poor Babies |
Still Kennels is a well known puppy mill. They are on the USDA "puppymill" list: http://www.prisonersofgreed.org/ListA2006.pdf I wish people would check the list before buying a puppy. |

Oh my those dogs don't look right:( as well as them being dirty:mad:. How is your puppy doing?I hope your pup is fine:). From your avatar she looks healthy, she is adorable. |
This is so sad. Now I know why the best breeders sell their dogs on limited registration instead of full.:( |

I just get so frustrated that these puppymills continue to stay in business because people keep buying puppies from them. |

Since Still Kennels is a USDA licensed commercial kennel, it is regulated by the USDA which enforces the Animal Welfare Act. The AWA has very basic standards of care regarding food, water, cage space, etc. There are no requirements for health testing, genetic screening, etc. which is why so many puppy mill puppies have serious health problems as they get older. If Still is compliant with the AWA, they are operating legally. If you suspect they are not, you can file a complaint with the USDA and have them investigated. Here's how: Complaint |
Have you watched the news about these places in Missouri? I did call the usda but they say they are in compliance. But their last inspection was 3 years ago. The state it seems has so many they cant keep up with them. I am doing all I know to do. :( She sells 5 other breeds and has over 200 dogs in 3 teeny little buildings I dont know how she gets by with it |
