When I recieved the phone call I jumped up and down and did a little dance right in the middle of my work, tears and all. LOL. I think that the vet was too. Right there in the dentists office. Thank you for your support.

This has been such a busy day and this is the first opportunity I have had to check on you. WHAT WONDERFUL NEWS! I am so happy to hear that he is doing better. :)

I'm sure you can relate...I still haven't named him. I'm afraid I'll jinx him, ya know? It's so hard to not get attached. I don't feel like he is out of the woods yet. I know what you mean about the name. He was named before he was born. Actually he was named before Tinkerbell was 4 months old. It is something that I thought about naming her if she was a male. LOL.

I hope that today is a good one for him. He is going to gain weight and be playing with his sister in no time. I am holding my breath also.

I don't know when I am going to get my little guy back. I guess whenever he starts eating well on a regular basis. We tried to get him to latch on when I brought Tinkerbell in a couple days ago and he was still just falling asleep. He was latching on early in life. I don't know what happened. Just after a couple of days he started being narculeptic (sp). Hopefully both of ours will grow out of that.

When I talk to the vet today I will have her send me some pictures. I am not going to be able to see them today. I have work and then school and she is not going to be at the vets office until Friday. So I guess that I am just going to have to wait to see him until then unless anything changes.

Oh and a bit of an update too. Yoda has gained 6 grams in the passed 2 days.:D Hopefully he will gain enough to come home soon.

Awwwww, they are so beautiful! :) That lady is doing a really good job with your little one. I think he looks great, what a heart breaker he is going to be!

Thats the best news ever that he is doing so well.I am so happy for you...:D I was so worried about him and haven't been on long the past few days, but he has been in my thoughts, since your litter and my two were born on the same day..they are special to me:)

The pictures are too cute. You have a wonderful Vet. She is a Godess. To take two babies was a wonderful thing to do. Two puppies always do better than just one, because they have each other, and they can sitimulate each other. This is also better when a mother has only one baby to find another one that's small from another litter, if there is one, to put in the bed together. It helps the Mother be a better mother too.

The vet called again today to update me and the news is barable. She took Yoda to see another vet, someone who does more specializing in neological. He said that he looks great neologically, but thinks that there is something wrong with his little liver. So they started him on some medication to help clean up his blood and see if that helps. I did not think to ask if they did blood test to get to this conclusion so I guess that I will just have hope and see what happens. The last couple days he has still been shaking and doing this funny breathing thing on top of everything else. The vet said that driving him around in the car seems to help calm his breathing. LOL. Just like a baby.

Well if I find anything else out I will update and let you know. Hopefully this is what he needs. They said that he might grow out of this or he might need a surgery to correct it. We are going to have to see.

Oh boy.....you guys have been through so much. It's totally exhausting for you I'm sure. It just brought me down a couple of notches just reading it. Oh how I pray that after all of this he will be a healthy, energetic, little puppy. We all know he is fighter; that's for sure. I'll be checking in and continue to pray for this little guy.

Wow, these babies are really testing us aren't they? Hoping and praying it's not serious, you and him deserve for him to live a happy healthy life. You've done so much for him and I hope he will be around a long time to show you all the love you deserve.

Yes we have an update. The medication seems to be working wonderfully. Woohoo!!! He is eating great and is very active. He has one eye open and crawling around. She said that we can continue with the medication and when he gets older he should be neutered. He can either continue with the medication and live a normal healthy life span or he can have the surgery to have his liver shunt corrected. I don't know what I am going to do in the long run. I can't keep the little guy no matter how much I want too. Is it okay to sell a little sick guy? He is going to have this for the rest of his life. Sorry just deep in though on how to give this little guy the best possible life for his situation.

On Sunday we are going to see how he does with all his litter mates and maybe he can come home is a couple days. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Well sure you can sell him, as long as you are up front and the buyers know exactly what is wrong and how to care for him. I've seen ads for puppies that say "special needs" and they find great loving homes.
