Seen this on puppyfind ..some people should NOT be breeding period.
I get so angry when I see breeders like this that try to take advanage of other.
What this poor pup and the person who buys it will go through.
She seem to be proud to have produced this genetic problem and will probably continue to breed the same ones to try and get more...:mad:

That's sad. You can't hold it against the puppy though, and it still deserves a good loving home. But people should be fully informed.

I hope the puppy is healthy...it's coat sure does look sad,doesn't it? :(

You would think if she has been breeding for 25 years she would know that a blue born puppy is probably going to have health issues and may not survive. Did you email her and let her know that isnt something to be proud of and ripping people off for 4000.00 saying it is rare and no one else has one. The sad thing is someone unsuspecting person will pay it and she will continue to breed to try and get more of them. :thumbdown

That poor puppy I feel so bad for him. I hope this breeder lets people interested in him know what they are getting into with his care and life expectancy.

That is so sad! Did you post a review and blast her? Maybe everyone could do that but she might also be able to exclude any negatives. :mad:
I read all the reviews and they were all positive so not sure if that is all that she allowed on there or not. Look suspicious to me.

I saw the same thing last night and I think there was another one listed right under it for 5,000. I wanted to write them a mean email so bad but I recently downgraded my puppyfind account since I have no puppies right now. That is so horrible and what's worse is that some ignorant person will fall for it.

I saw that when I was looking on puppyfind in my state of MN. I just about fell out of my chair. The hair is so thin you can see the tail bone. I don't know her but I think she has been breeding for some time. $4,000, what a joke!!:mad: :thumbdown

It says she registers with AKC. Is this something someone could report her for?

I was thinking the same thing... His coat doesnt look very healthy! At all... Cute little thing, but just doesnt look like a Yorkie to me.... 8(

Some people will do anything for a dollar, and unfortunately some poor soul will fall for it.

Is anyone going to leave a bad review on puppyfind about the " rare" blue pup?

I think everyone who has the time should leave a review or whatever your options are on there. I think it's silly... People would love it just as much if not more if they know the truth, then they can expect and can take care of any problems early

i just sent an email to her to tell her what i thought. i hope she sees there are people out there that will catch her and maybe she will think again about doing this.

That is so sad. This kind of crap infuriates me more and more as time goes by...I keep *hoping* this kind of ignorance is a passing fad and will go away, but...unfortunately stupidity is something that there always seems to be an abundance of.
The fact that puppyfind allows ANYTHING and EVERYTHING on their site and they don't regulate it and could care less is the reason why I do not support them AT ALL. Kind of the same way that I woulnd't boycott JUST buying a dog from a pet store and still buy the food/merchandise/toys, I boycott the store altogether. I would never buy a dog off puppyfind, or advertise there. I realize there are some decent breeders and dogs there---this is a case where a few bad apples spoil the whole bunch. Maybe one day they will see they are losing support over this and tighten their reins on the whack jobs that they let advertise with them.:mad: :thumbdown

I do think a lot of the breeders on that are just that: whack jobs. BUT, i do cruise puppyfind a few times a day always keeping my eyes open for the "perfect" baby. i have seen some of the ugliest dogs on there that I have ever seen called yorkies. AND, most of them are big, floppy eared , almost hairless looking dogs that look more like my husbands dogs or some other kind of dog than a yorkie and what amazes me is that people even put what they think is a cute picture of their dog on there. if I had dogs that looked like most of them, I wouldn't post their pictures on any place. i do advertise on puppyfind sometimes, tho. In fact, i just purchased my new little girl on there and so pleased with her. Not at liberty to say much about her right now. And, I have sold one dog on there.

I have seen the dogs you descibe and that is exactly what I mean. :( It's horrible! :thumbdown I'm just of the mind set that as long as a site that allows that is shown support, then they will see no need to change things or try to discourage it. I've seen people come on this site with what seem to be similar breeding habits as some of the puppyfind whack jobs and they get put through the ringer, yet another site that allows it is supported? Makes no sense to me.:confused:

I didn't mean for that to come accross as a challenge for anyone to try to justify their actions nor was I trying to convince or condemn anyone for anything. I really could care less what anyone else does or how they view the site--just stating my personal opinion and joining in the conversation.:)

Has anyone sent her a reply with a link to that website that talks about the blue born yorkies. I know it is wrong that she is doing that, but someone should educate her to the potential problems...

Do you really think she'd care and pass up this rare, money making opportunity.:( I'm sure we'd just get the same 'it's the breeder's responsibility to educate potential buyers' spill or the ever so popular, 'if you aren't truly interested, you have no business commenting.' I have a feeling there are lots of things she should probably be "educated" about.:rolleyes:

OK...I just sent it to her then...I don't know if she'd care or not. If she doesn't know, then at least she'll know now. If she doesn't care, no one can do anything about that, but if it is a matter of her not knowing, then at least she can't say she didn't know now.

Absolutely not, she wouldn't as other's that advertise "rare colored". She as other's like her choose not to be educated....it would cut into their making a fast buck.

Puppyfind...is somewhere I wouldn't even entertain in buying a dog from. As Satman a YT member said, reputable breeder's don't have to advertise on YT or any open Forum, they have a waiting list. How much more can she blatenly announce that she's out for the money. Poor unsuspecting public.

I think it was a great idea to send her the link. At least now she can't say that she didn't know.
