She is adorable and her mother looks to very attentive with her. Best of luck. I bet you are going to have a hard time letting her go, or are you? I bet she has already found her Forever Home!!!

If I'm correct (and it's 3 am here) She's lost 1.25 ounces. She doesn't weigh quite 1 ounce. But she's a fighter so she'll be putting on the weight. I love the pics, they're adorable.

You read my post wrong. she started at 2 ounces... and she gained 3/4 ounce more to the 2 ounces.... she is over the 2 ounce mark.. but beings grams are smaller I was just mentioning that she gained .75 .... So, after that she was weighing 2 ounces and 3/4.... I weighed her again this morning and now she is weighing 2 ounces and 7/8 Almost to 3 ounces :)

Oh that's wonderful! She must be living high on the hog over there. We're all so happy that she's doing well. I love the picture of her eating!

I'm so happy your little one is doing better and gaining weight. The pictures are adorable!
Hats off to all of you who helped pull them through this scary time. I'm sure it is a helpless feeling to have such a little one that won't eat.

Joy. I just read all about Precious and I am so glad that she is doing better. I am so busy with my seven...Lexie is doing all, but I just love to watch them feeding, twitching, and growing. The pictures are are so cute. Know you are in our thoughts and prayers.

I weighed Precious this morning and she weighs now 3 and 1/4 ounces

she was born on Friday afternoon. and weighed 2 ounces... this Monday morning... Does she seem like she is gaining fast enough??? At the normal/typical rate???

She should double her birth weight in the first week so she's doing great!!!

:D I am so excited, I weighed Precious this morning and she weighed 4 ounces!
After everyone said that in the first week she should double her birth weight. Here she is on Day 4 and she has already. :D :p :D

I did a little the second day until Peaches really took over.. Thank you so much again for all your help:) I so appreciate it , as you could tell I was an emotional wreck.

The only thing that bothers me now is that Precious will have like snuffling in her nose sometimes like there is liquid rattling in there. But she was checked for a cleft palate and she does not. He said it is common for this to happen. That these lil ones get to drinking so fast that it gets in there nose sometimes... Does this happen to yours or anyone elses??? Other then this she is very energetic , nurses well and is gaining nice weight.

Hi Joy, is there liquid bubbling out from her nose or just the noise? If there's no liquid coming out I guess the noise is no big deal but I'm not very experienced myself so I'm not totally sure. Tomorrow I'm seeing two friends of mine who have quite a large experience breeding yorkies and I'll let them know what you have just posted. Wishing you and your lil ones the best.

Precious is 1 week today
 
and she has gone from 2 ounces to 6 ounces in one week. I have update pictures in the Nursery section! I can finally breathe! It was so touch in go in the beggining, but now she is doing Great! :D :D :D
