Whatever it takes to ease that back. I know that this 61 year old back can't be abused for any great length of time....so, the raised grate on a 3x3 play pen, with square inch thick rubber tiles from WalMart on top of the grates work great for me.

I know what you mean. I forgot I could have used the wire sides it has. I just keep it off with new babies so mom can come and go. I am such a dummy. I will have to use it next time - the whelping bed will fit perfect right on top of its sides and top wire crate it has - just use upside down. Brillant!!:D

I am so glad the breeding worked. My older male (the sire) is champion sired and his lines are Fairytales, Clarkwyn, and Jentres. I was so glad not to loose his lines. They should have great silky coats, color, and soundness. The puppies grandparents were gorgeous too. I will be keeping my fingers crossed, for some very nice pups and maybe a show hopeful. :thumbup: Here are some photos of some other pups my male has sired.

My new girl has some Fairytales CH in her pedigree. Good line, I guess? I had never heard of them before.

This Fairytales is the old one - not the new one from Ohio. The Fairytales in my male and most likely yours too goes back to Country Airs, Clarkwyn and Jentres. Very nice lines. All seem to have great silky coats and nice color. I have seem a bit light, but my sire and his parents were both good color - nice blue. They are also nice and square and good sound bodies. There is a top breeder whos lines also goes back to this as well. So a great sign.

Yes, I am still here. I have been busy showing this summer and now school has started back and since I teach - I am so busy. I have a handler now and letting her show my babies.

you are right. My little gal has some good genes going for her. How well she will do is left up to me and I am so afraid of failing her.
