Thank you everyone. She's been having contractions now for 3 hours with no sign of anything coming out. She in sleeping in between contractions. So I don't know whether to take her in to the vet or wait awhile. She doesn't seem to be stressed. |
Any puppies yet??? So exciting...all these babies being born on the same day!! Dawn |
if she hasn't delivered any puppies in 4 hrs with contractions, you need to take her to the vet. good luck keep us posted |

Thinking about you.....hope it's going good. |
I hope she wasn't in hard labor for 4 hours. I'm thinking (hoping) she was just having light contractions, getting stronger leading to hard labor. That can take a looong time. Especially if you have your hand on the tummy all day (never done that before lol). Hope things are going well for you. |
ohhh gees I hope and Pray all is ok. :angel2dl: :angel2dl: |
Just checking in for a update! Hoping all is wonderful and your busy with babies!!!!! |
Any news?? |
4 Attachment(s) We're finally home from the vets. Thanks to everyone for the kind thoughts. Misha had to have a C section. The first one in the canal was bigger and she couldn't pass him. We have 3 boys. One is iffy that he will survive. O please pray that he makes it. He was having trouble to begin with with his breathing. Since I have brought him home he is breathing much better. I just can't get him to latch on. They said he can go til in the morning without nursing and then if he still hasn't they will need to tube feed him. They weigh 2.5 oz.--3.5oz. 4 oz. |
awwwww i am so glad everything went well. i hope the little one makes it. congrats on the babies |
They are adorable! Hope he finds the strength!;) Prays coming your way!! :lovewings |
I'm glad mama and everyone is doing ok so far. I'll send prayers your way for the little one! |
Congratulations on your new puppies and I am... Praying for your baby boy, has he nursed yet??? Have you tried expressing just a bit of colostrum onto your finger and putting it on his lips?? a little goes a long way at first.. When Tea' had her litter five weeks ago, one of the smallest girls was a bit slow to start, I just kept placing her right at the teat and expressing a tiny drop and placing it near her lips..and finally she caught on. OMG, another special delivery. Congrats! Everyone is beautiful. I hope the little one makes it. |
Congratulations on your new little ones. Wow, is today the biggest birthday ever??? I am sending you all of our thoughts and prayers. We seem to be doing well, and considering going to bed real soon. I will be up at midnight, 3AM, and 6AM checking....if I can do anything, I will be there!! Hugs and kisses to Mommy and her babies. |
Wow, I missed this last night. I am glad all went well. Has your baby nursed yet? A few breeders here gave the tip of putting saliva on the teat and the baby might latch on then. Are you trying to feed it Esbilac or anything? Keep us posted please. |
Congratulations!! Your babies are precious. Looking forward to seeing the grow! ;) |
Congratulations! Prayers for the little one that is struggling. My biggest one is the one that had the hardest time coming around after birth and learning to latch on after being born by C section. I found that when I decided to quit giving the pain pills the to the mom that the vet gave me (I found out that most don't give them after the first day and some not at all) the pups and mom both did better. It was too sedating for them and they weren't very aggressive eaters at all. Also it takes a day or so to get the anesthesia out of their systems. The pups are affected by whatever the mother takes also, including medication and anesthesia. |
awwwwwwwww the babies are beautiful! Congratulations!! I will keep them all (mom included) in my prayers, and I will say a special prayer for the little boy who is struggling. I so hope he makes it! |
ah I am praying for the lil guy I hope all is ok. Keeping them all and you too in my prayers. |
