Come on everybody in the Jersey area, we can ban together and do this, get Brandy a new home, a forever home. PLEASE!!! |
OmG just hide your dogs when they drop her off!!! They probably have never taken time to try and socialize her!!! Its easy to say Oh no other dogs please....but here i am getting rid of her because she cannot get pregnant, gee Im not shallow. If my dogs turned purple with polka dots I would get rid of them. Sorry to sound harsh....just seems to me they are getting rid of her for shallow reasons yet wanna call the shots......With a mommy touch and room to separate and social under supervision how do they know she cannot live well with others....?????? |
She very possibly can be socialized to get along with others...sounds to me like there are plenty of other dogs living with her now!!! All we have to do is find someone nearby that will go the extra mile...to let this woman visit their home (with a fence) and tell her exactly what she wants to hear. We are not going to convince her to sell Brandy to someone with other dogs or kids, so tell a white lie, she never has to know the truth...Make her believe that Brandy will be the ONLY one, does not sound impossible to me, there are a lot of people on here from that area, someone has to have a fenced in yard...or know someone that does. If we keep this thread alive and current, that special person will be found. Brandy will be so fortunate if we can pull this off. |
I am hoping this idea works out!!! Some has to be able to do this!! I know if I lived in the area I would do it in a second...I have the fenced yard lol...just wish I was closer!! Dawn |

I feel stupid for not thinking this before. My uncle lives there and I pretended to live with him. I'll ask my uncle if he wants her. My cousins who are 9 11 and 13 would love a dog. They've never actually had a pet. There brownstone is huge 3 floors not including an inlaw apartment and they have a fenced in backyard. If shes still up by July first I'll talk to him. I hope he'll say yes! |
Why July 1st? |
I tried to get her to let me buy her, but I live in another state and couldn't get her to even discuss it without going off on me. I just wanted to get Brandy out of there and hold onto her for someone on YT who may want her. Maybe we should post this on more than just the breeder forum so that more people see it? I'd love for someone here to get her out of that place she's in! Brandy is currently living with lots of other dogs.....and, it's funny that if this crazy lady could breed her, she would STILL live in her home with lots of other dogs........she makes no sense. |

Yes I will send the money prior to getting her, I normally would trust doing that but I trust everyone on YT! I feel like we are all family here and I just love it. But Yes if we could find someone that has a fenced in yard that could tell this woman what she wants to hear, we could rescue Brandy, and my Aunt for that matter. Then the YT train could once again leave the station. I think posting this in another forum would be a great Idea. I will do that and paste this link on it so every on can read up on it. Thanks all you who are trying to make this possable for my Aunt and Brandy. |
There's the regional forum...maybe that would be a good place to post also. I want this to happen for you, your aunt and Brandy!!! |

Well Guys I have bad news, Someone Tipped the lady off that we were trying to do this, if you read the puppyfind ad you will see what I am talking about. We can still pull this off if but is will take someone who is really good at bluffing! I just posted on the other forum about it and i am VERY p^*)*#_. I can't believe there is someone on here that is a "yorkie lover" that told this lady what we are trying to do. So I am now signing off YT and I will not be back on. I will find my Aunt a Yorkie and no matter whatshe will love it. I just thought Brandy would be better off with my Aunt and vice versa. But oh well. Thank you to all those who tryed to help and who ever tipped her off. I hope you enjoy hurting yorkies, like you are allowing poor Brandy to be hurt. Who ever did it is probebly a puppy mill or a BYB anyways so I guess they all stick together!!!!!! Enjoy the "YORKIE LOVERS" and the "NOT SO YORKIE LOVERS" on here. |

I will be on here only to check on Brandy's thread and to chack my messages but after that yes, I can not stand someone who would let this poor baby live in a house were she is being abused and every one on here is sapossed to be yorkie lovers but yet they are supporting this BYB. Just goes to show even YT cannot be trusted. |
How do you know that she didn't just happen to stumble across it on her own? I really can't see anyone on YT messaging her and letting her know this was here =/. How strange. |
It could happen...I was google searching seizures, and found my Winstons whole story from YT listed. This is a public forum. You can join and never say a word...just read. Scary thought, that there are people reading our post, that really have ulterior motives. Sorry it turned out this way. |
Hopefully, it will still work out for your aunt and Brandy. If not, then things happen for a reason and you will find another that will be a perfect match for your aunt. It is sad, though, that people are trying to get Brandy into a good home and the breeder won't allow her to go...I really do not get that. I bought Livi from a breeder in California and she shipped her to me. Thank goodness my breeder sells to people outside of her own state, otherwise, I would not have my Livi. Tammy |
I don't get it. How do you guys know that this woman is abusing her yorkies? As a breeder I would be really upset if I were trying to do what I knew was best for my gal and a bunch of people were trying to trick me. This woman sounds like she's going out of her way to make sure this gal gets a good home. She's selling her dirt cheap and insists on checking out the home situation before she lets her go. As far as rehoming her because she can't breed her, that's what breeders have to do sometimes. Otherwise we would end up with 40 dogs and no puppies. I rehomed Cricket when she couldn't be bred. I lost a bundle on it but she is a happy little princess and is making Jackie a very happy yorkie mom. This woman knows her dog best, if she says she should be the only fur kid than take her word for it. It sounds to me like she's doing all she can to insure her gals happiness, that doesn't sound like abuse to me. |
Holy cow! I just read the ad again and I can not believe someone here would do this! Even if the person disagreed with you they should have brought it to you- not her. Her ad makes her sound like a complete lunatic now. I hope everything works out for you. If I lived in NJ I'd help you in a second. Quote:

I know you guys are right about her maybe stumbling around online and find YT, Thats how I found it! I was just doing research on Yorkies and I found YT! I love this site And I dont want to leave as I get loads of great information here. I have said it before that I really feel like we all are one big Distant family. And I feel like the owner isn't doing wrong by rehoming here, alot of breeders do it after the dog is to old to breed and if they have complications, my mom just had a chihuahua the had pups twice and both times had a c-section. So she had her spayed (to make sure no new owner would try to breed her) and found her a great home. But this woman was plain rude to others without them even mentioning them living in another state. One person was actually from her area. And she hit a dog while on the phone with her, and yes I know you cant really tell that she hit the dog but trust me, when your on the phone with someone and you here a smack and them the pup yelp, you just KNOW that she hit it!!!!!!!! I am still going to look for a Yorkie for my Aunt and I guess she wasnt ment to have Brandy, cause whats ment to be, will be, right? But thank you all for everything you tryed to do for me and my Aunt, and aslo for Brandy! May she find the home she deserves! |

As I said earlier, After reading all the posts I got concerned and since I live in NJ I thought I'd call and see how I felt and if needed try to get Brandy out of a bad situation. Tammi is right "No one really knows what is going on in this woman's house and she does seem to be trying to find the best home for Brandy." I know when I spoke to her on the phone (And, I can only speak for my own conversation) but she was very nice with me. I do believe through my conversation that she is upset over this girl not being able to get preg. but she has a business. Unfortuanately, breeding is a business. AND, since this girl cannot produce something that will make her money she is doing what a business person would do and let go of what is not going to make her money. Like it or not that's the way it goes. I'm not saying I agree but she is doing it the right way. She's not taking her out and shooting her as some puppymills do. She is trying to find a forever home for Brandy, a home that will suit both Brandy's needs and her new owner's needs. This woman has stated that Brandy is alpha and would be better placed in a home without other dogs. I have an alpha girl and it can work but ONLY if you know for sure that NONE of your other dogs are alpha. Two alpha dogs spell trouble. She has asked for a fenced yard. Most reputable rescues ask the same. I don't know what else to say accept that I hope Brandy finds a GREAT home. Elaine |
