Has anyone ever heard of.. Robin Schulder of Baby Luvs Teacup Yorkies?? This woman from New York, claims he sells yorkies that won't be over 2lbs??!!!?? Claims they are healthy.. and also breeds her 1.6 lb mom... I have never heard of anything so awful before in my life.. A friend who lives here in Florida told me about the site and said her friend is planning on purchasing a puppy from her.. I just thought I would love to hear your thoughts on this breeder. This is her website, Take a look. http://www.4netmarketing.com/baby/yorkies.htm |
3oz 12 weeks?! And she ships?! I bet she's lying about the age of the puppies, how can it be 3oz at 12 weeks... has it not grown much since birth or was it born in negative ounces? Ugh, I hate breeders like that. I know of a lady down in Florida who does breed for smaller dogs, but in a very safe way, I know that she truly loves her dogs, and her dogs usually max out at about 3.5lbs. I can give you her address but she is veryveryvery picky about where her puppies go and she doesn't ship. I'd be so terrified of owning a 2lbs or less dog. One wrong move and you've probably killed it. |
look she says Mom is 1.6 pounds and Dad is 1.8 pounds i wonder how mom pushed these out! |
OMG THAT makes me SICK !! In all honesty - the best advise you can give your friend is RUN the other way |
1 Attachment(s) Whatever happened to common sense? This is the size of a 4 oz yorkie the day it was born. If any of my dogs looked like that they would be at the vet in a heartbeat. |
Having had a few litters with my own yorkies, I know a bit and even though I told her to run for the hills (or at least tell her friend too) It is already too late as she had already sent a deposit. I have been emailing this woman as a potenial customer and I don't like the line she is giving me. I asked for pictures of the parents and she sent me one adult picture and a picture of a puppy, I asked she other questions and she avoids them and tells me things like, the puppies are as small as baby mice when they are born!! I don't understand how people get away with this crap!! Oh, she also said that the puppies are $2500, down from $3000. HOW to we Spell CRAZY!! |
Wow, this is outlandish what some "breeders" are doing for money. These poor dogs. I wonder when is this going to stop? I guess when people stop buying them. All I can think about is those poor parents, I bet there are many more. And those puppies, I'm sure there survival rate is very low. That's probably why she charges so much for one. Gross. |
I don't know if I believe that her puppies are the size that she claims on her site....they look bigger. So sad if she is truly breeding dogs that tiny!!!!!! :thumbdown Tammy |
I just saw this thread and I just think this is so sick and twisted. One of them says like 1.1 ounces at 16 weeks or something, yeah, right. What a sick human being. Oh, and according to the web site ALL these puppies come from one set of parents...I'm no expert (or ANYWHERE close) but seems like lots of lies to me. I'm almost tempted to e-mail her and see what kind of info I can find out....maybe I shouldn't waste my time  Things like this are just so upsetting....:( those poor pups too |

Did anyone else notice that she has a Humane Society blanket laid out in the puppy pictures so we can all read it. Is this a ploy to get us to think that what she is doing is okay? |

I would have never gotten past the name to even think about purchasing a puppy. JMO. |
But these silly people who want to have a Tiny Yorkies will do anythimg to get one and these terrible breeders stop at nothing and spare no expense, not even their dogs lives.. So Sad! Why can't people get it through their head, Most tiny babies come with problems and this is not a standard size for yorkies.. If they want a tiny animal, then they should get a mouse!! :( |
1 Attachment(s) The latest! She sends me this picture and when I said I wanted a picture of the adults she says that was an adult.. and then wrote this: Hi Karen the photos are recent of the parents and they are not puppies the parents are adults. They are registered with pure puppy data base a club in florida. I have been breeding since the 90s and i guarantee my puppies to be the real tiny micro teacup puppies !! yes the moms are all c sections and i breed only once a year each female. my dogs all live in my 3 floor home and i do not keep them in kennels they sleep with my kids. that's why i always invite people over my home to actually see everything and they are always very impressed, i have references as well, please ask i will provide you with numbers. My pups are 2 ounces at birth. thanks again Robin |
Like an adult would have black tips on its gold head?!? The black is puppy hair on a PUPPY! |
 She's trying to say that is an adult dog?! Hmmmmm, ok...whatever! :thumbdown |
I hope the friends doesn't buy from this "breeder?". |
I totally agree. Dont they understand the health issues that WILL arise with such a small puppy. She makes me sick ! Are these puppies AKC? because if she is trying to sell AKC puppies as tera-cups and trying to get more money i dont think AKC board would like that too much. |
Reputable breeders never use the word teacup. They will say "small" or let you know that the puppy will stay smaller than normal but they NEVER ever use a catch word like tcup or teacup. Plus a lot of these tiny breeders lie, plain and simple. And if a breeder will lie about something as simple as age, then who knows what other kind of problems you'll end up dealing with in the long run. That picture looks almost exactly like the puppy a breeder tried to tell me was almost 7 months old. If you look at enough pictures on YT you can easily tell what an adult or older pup should look like. Sometimes it's harder to listen to what your gut instict is telling you rather than your heart though. But if you see an ad from the same seller with two different ages for the same puppy picture, it's pretty easy to know they're not someone you should deal with. Puppies don't double in age in one week :) Your friend should try to get her money back asap and buy from someone recommended on YT(even standard size yorkies have smaller offspring, you'll see it many times on here). A smaller yorkie can be just as healthy, it totally depends on where it came from. A good breeder is worth their weight in gold because you know what to expect and you can get a smaller dog if you just wait till nature has it happen. I learned my lesson and hope no one gets scammed or gets a sick puppy but sadly it does happen. You should have your friend join YT, that way if she sees a puppy/dog she particularly likes the looks of she can PM the member and find out what breeder they used. I think quite a few of us have a list of "if I ever get another one....." |
The parents look like puppies too, their hair color etc never changed. i thought that was very rare for there to be a adult that was still mostly black. with the puppy short hair like that. |
Look at the picture again. That PUPPY has light roots and dark tips. As the hair grows out and the dark tips are cut off it will be light colored hair only. The dark baby hairs are changing into the light adult colored hair. Yes, I have seen yorkies that stay dark headed, but they do not get the two colors on the same hair shaft. |
I don't think this woman should be allowed to breed. I LOVE (sarcasm) how she prominantly displays the Human Society's Logo on her website. She should be reported for animal abuse. She is endangering those poor puppies and their mothers. |
Robin Schulder fined in lawsuit over sick puppies - yorkie bulldog NY Daily News 6/30/2008: Queens-based 'Bulldogs R Us' owner accused of selling sick puppies BY BRENDAN BROSH DAILY NEWS WRITER Keivom/News Valerie Ramirez (l.) and daughter Jessica hold photos of bulldog Ozzie, whom they eventually euthanized. Ward for News Robin Schulder, who operates the Web site 'Bulldogs R Us,' has also been ordered by a Bronx judge to pay $2,095 to a heartbroken family that had to put down their ailing 7-month-old puppy. A prolific Queens dog breeder has drawn the ire of animal lovers and the scrutiny of state law enforcement officials for running what a former customer described as a "house of horrors" that produces too many sick puppies. The breeder, Robin Schulder, who operates the Web site "Bulldogs R Us," has also been ordered by a Bronx judge to pay $2,095 to a heartbroken family that had to put down their ailing 7-month-old puppy. Schulder sells at least five different dog breeds from her home in Queens Village, and has numerous consumer complaints against her - drawing the attention of state law enforcement officials. "We are aware of the complaints, take them seriously, and are reviewing them closely," said Alex Detrick, a spokesman for state Attorney General Andrew Cuomo. The Ramirez family in the Bronx bought an English bulldog puppy from Schulder in November that suffered from neurological disorders, blindness, parvovirus and a host of other problems. "Within the first few days we noticed something was wrong," said Jessica Ramirez, 16, who borrowed money from her grandmother to buy Ozzie, a handsome mahogany and white puppy. "He started to lose weight. He walked around in circles." In a contract, Schulder guaranteed Ozzie's health for a year, but she didn't help the family with veterinary care when he fell ill. "We got three unfit-for-sale letters from three different veterinarians," said Jessica's mother, Valerie, a paraprofessional with the city Education Department. "I wanted her to pick up the medical bills but we didn't want to give [Ozzie] back to Robin." One vet noted on Ozzie's medical chart that he was "depressed, weak, unable to support weight, vomiting in cage, no appetite." After seven months of heartache the family tried to place Ozzie with a bulldog rescue group but another veterinarian advised them to euthanize him. "I didn't want to lose him," said Jessica, who worked at a supermarket to pay her grandma back. "I didn't want to go with my family when they put him to sleep." The family took Schulder to court and a judge ruled in their favor with a $2,095 judgment, which Schulder has yet to pay. "I have no comments for these people," Schulder told the Daily News in a phone interview, contending she has done nothing wrong. Schulder said the case was still pending. Court papers show the judgment is dated April 24. During the court hearing, Schulder said she sells 200 dogs a year, the Ramirez family said. "I have no violations with Albany," Schulder said, referring to the fact that dog breeding is regulated by the state Department of Agriculture and Markets. "I'm a licensed breeder." She also sells Yorkshire terriers, pit bulls, bull terriers and Chihuahuas from her home, and operates several Web sites. Animal rescue groups are familiar with "Bulldogs R Us" and other animals sold by Schulder. "This is a terrible operation," said Laurette Richin, head of the Long Island Bulldog Rescue, a group that places abused and sick animals with families. "I have had so many complaints about her that I don't know how she can still be in business." Several former customers described Schulder's home as being overrun by dogs. "It was filthy, it was smelly, it was disgusting in there," said Patricia Czech, who bought a bulldog named Vinny from Schulder. "It's a house of horrors." Czech had so many problems with the 8-month-old that she had to return it to Schulder in two weeks and was refunded her $1,000. She has inquired about Vinny's fate, but Schulder won't return her calls, Czech said. The Ramirez family cautioned potential customers from doing business with Schulder. "Just look her up on Google," said Valerie Ramirez. "She needs to be shut down. She has sold sick puppies to a lot of people." |
Been there personally about three weeks ago. The smell was incredible she had two yorkies...to bulldogs and a chihuahua she wanted to sell me a yorkie for 1000 cash, he looked terrible..she claimed he was 4 weeks old...instead of being brown and black or brown and blue as they say when describing a yorkie he was brown and silver all over..he could barely open his eyes and he looked frail..i asked about the other healthier pup and she told me she was trying to get 3000 for him...and he certainly didn't seem to have champion bloodlines...no paper work or anything... i asked to use the restroom and she said a bitch was whelping in the bathroom!! She asked me if i wanted to hold the yorkie i said no then she said "isn't he cute?" I looked at my wife and took off so fast she didn't even have a chance to close the door. Don't do it... don't even THINK about buying a pup from this woman..the dogs are kept in rubbermaid bins. Five pups to each bin on some newspaper...no nutrical vitamins, no toys no nothing...it's scandalous. .. just straight up scandalous she was on the channel 5 news...SHAME ON YOU!!! |
Beware of Robin Schulder. To find out more about her and the other 10 breeds she sells visit complaintsboard.com and look under Robin Schulder or BulldogsRus. She also sells imported quality guard dogs along with her micro Yorkies. They are all messed up. I hope they don't sleep with her kids since her son dropped a puppy on the floor in front of people. She sells hermaphrodite puppies, mixed breeds for thousands as purebreds. Don't even get me started with her place of registration of Pure Puppy database they will register a chicken as a Yorkie they disgust me. There are several lawsuits against her plus 2 EPISODES OF SHAME SHAME on Fox news. This is a horrific breeder/puppy mill that needs to be stopped. She sells sickly English Bulldogs that are infested with parasites who get extremely high vet bills then die. The vets say they were all unfit to sell. Robin lies saying the health certificate is coming but it never does cause no vet in their right mind would say that they were fit to sell. Please stay away from this nightmare beware she uses multiple names and her house is horrible with feces and urine so strong. all puppies have coccidia, giardia etc. plus some are mean!!! You will left broken hearted like many of us did. |
Good to keep this thread current so no one is tempted to buy from this person. I don't know who could get fooled by that site though. There are a couple of cute puppy pictures but there are also some very strange looking 1 year olds that would make me wonder WTH???? Can't believe she is still in business! |
Omygosh did you see that poor little Aspen????? I honestly dont think these babies are as small as she says because of the pictures of the little girl holding them I have a little guy who is 2lbs 9 oz at 6 months and these dogs looks as big as he does. Even so this is sickening if it is true. |
Okay, I was immediately freaked out by this on her site: "We specialize in micro tiny teacup Yorkie puppies, and tiny toy Yorkie puppies. (We safely ship your puppy directly to you same day or next day.)" Um, obviously not screening any new owners, because she'll send you the puppy as soon as you pay! No questiosn asked. And then there is this: "Adorable Yorkie puppies (they do not grow) they are smart, healthy, very happy and friendly." Do not grow? WTH??? How do people like this sell puppies? I mean, do people honestly not do research before adopting? |
