I am not sure it is liver shunt, I was told she has liver disease and her tests are very high. I believe it to be liver shunt because it sounds like what the vet had explained. However I will have more detail at my follow up appointment with the vet. I was told to give her milk thistle and if that does not lower her tests then we would have to put her on anitbotics. I was told that what she has could be inherited. Not that it definately is, but COULD BE. Other than that, I was treated well by Rose, she did answer my questions. She was friendly. I love my girl so very much and would not trade her for a healthy dog. I love her and there would not be a replacement suitable for her. She is a fiesty little thing but she reminds me of myself. She is so full of personality. I love her and if anything happens to her I wont be able to handle it. |
