| 14 week weight is 3 lbs 1 oz about average for a female at 14 weeks? It would be a 4 oz gain in one week for her |

| it is hard to say average. the standard weight for a yorkie is no more than 7 lbs. there are many yorkies larger than this through poor breeding yet the puppies are no less adorable and loving. a yorkie has growth spurts and they slow down but each is different. typically you double their weight at 12 weeks. this is not an exact weight. my kirby was a three lbs at 12 weeks then by 7 months was 6lbs but at a year had a growth spurt and went to almost 10lbs.
