Yorkie pregnancy updates please ! 1 Attachment(s) .....how are everyones' dogs who are pregnant doing ? .....what day are you at now ? .....any belly pics ? Tammy is day 51(Sunday) and no bigger ! (since about day 30) ....the only difference in her is she is more tired, and her padding in her nipples is more drooping down....her belly is still rounded and pouchy, and her rib-cage is still deffo wider....her nipples are swollen with no milk yet, but are red at the tips....i haven't seen any discharge, but she is always licking herself there.....and she still weighs a tonne compared to normal ! ....i don't feel any kicking either ! ....still thinking that she only has one in there, this being her 1st pregnancy and being so small and not huge and bloated out like some pics i've seen. ....as my mum said today, the one puppy will have a fantastic home, lol, she knows i'll be keeping it ! ;) ....i will get more pics of her belly as soon as pos ! ....it makes you wonder if it's not puppies but cottage cheese that's making her bigger, lol ....hope all is ok with your dogs, and well done to those new arrivals - lucky people !!! :animal-pa Debra x x x x |

Ollie is on day 65 and holding. No signs yet I haven't taken her temp this morning, but she ate breakfast. |
Oh Jeanie....hope Ollie pops them out soon for you - I'd be right fed up having to wait as long as you ! I am counting the days already, and on Monday 16th Tammy is on day 52 ! 2 Attachment(s) I am not sure if Darla is or isnt still and if she is she is due this week..possibly tomorrow!! I think there is colustrum coming out of her nipples...its a clear sticky substance...I dont know...I guess time will tell!! Here are a couple pictures of her today...let me know what YOU think!! |

Update On Tammy 4 Attachment(s) Sorry not been well and not on due to pain, boohoo.:( Re: Tammy Hi........Tammy is huge, and looked like she was starting labour on Saturday, but it came to nothing. Looked the same earlier, but nothing so far. She is pacing around back and forth, and turning around quick to look at her rear - so must be feeling something there - she stretches out onto her front paws, and leans down on them, with her bottom in the air, and she has been panting. Still eating though, and still playful and stupid - no milk and no nesting ! Hope not a false pregnancy like Darla's, lol, but not funny, sad ! :mad: :thumbdown Hubby has me thinking that she is only huge the last 2 months due to extra food - he has me worried, lol....but she did have a tie, and she has gained 2lbs in weight since then.....barrel ! 1 Attachment(s) Took Tammy for her scan today at day 60/62 - no puppies, boohoo. The vet says to try her next season;) She was 4lbs but is now nearly 6lbs in weight - will need loads of walking now to get that extra feeding off her ! It's the waiting that has been the worst - all that preparation for nothing, boohoo :confused: Vet says she's in fab condition though and these things happen - she will probably take next time.....if I decide to breed her....not sure yet.....all that for nothing is disheartening :confused: Looks like I am joining the sad club who aren't having puppies afterall, boohoo :animal-pa Debra x x x x pic - The "not to be parents......yet !" |

I am feeding her the esbilac, filtered water, egg & corn syrup mixture while she is in her box. Thats really the only thing shes had today. I gave her a little extra earlier & it came up a few minutes later. I feel so bad about that. She hasn't wanted any water all day till a couple hours ago. Debra, I feel so bad for you. My Coco is day 56 today. She sounds the same as your Tammy. She is not huge in belly, but Ribcage area is and is acting preg. I haven't took her to vet bc I am thinking she is not. I don't feel movement either. Last time she was huge and I felt movement. I am totally bummed, too!!! I wanted a summer litter. My stud owner keeps saying there may be one in there, but I don't know.... Congratulations to all the new mommy's though. I'll try again!!! Lori |

I couldn't stand not knowing for sure in the end, and got Tammy scanned - and yes, it was a waste of money, but at least I now know for sure !!!! Congrats did you have pups last night? I have a litter due tomorrow,we are expecting 5 at least the x-ray showed 5. time will tell. |
