How is everyone doing this evening? |
1 Attachment(s) Well here are the pictures... the one on your right is the little boy, he weights 1.5 ounces (I call him rat LOL..) he was the second one to be born. Now the one in the center is the biggest one she was the first one to be born and weights 3.5 ounces. And the one on your left was the last one to be born and she weights 3 ounces. These are my little babies... I am going to sell the girls but I'm planning to keep the boy.. Now is not feeding too good, I?m bottle feeding him cause' he is having trouble doing it by himself. I notice that he keeps his tongue up and sucks holding the tong up, I?m helping him with the bottle cause I push it down and he starts sucking and drinking. Well let me know what you think about my tiny little pups.. |
Oh my gosh, your little boy is so tiny. I never knew they were born that small. I hope they all continue to thrive. CONGRATULATIONS!!!! |
CONGRATULATIONS!!!! They are so cute!!!! :ghug: |
Congratulations on the new babies. Sounds like she did very good. Do you have a scale to weight them to make sure that they are gaining weight? The first few weeks I weighed mine 3 times a day to make sure that they were gaining. Keep a close eye on your little boy. he is so cute. |
Congrats! They are adorable. I'd really keep a VERY close eye on that little boy. He's awefully small. I'd get a digital scale and start to weigh him in grams. That way you will be able to tell if he starts to loose. I learned this from my vet. You can tell in grams sooner than a weight loss will show in ounces. I would keep supplimenting him like your doing as well as give him one on one time with mom. Maybe take the other little ones away for a couple minutes so he gets her all to himself to fill up. Keep us posted on him !!! |
OMG how sweet are they! I just want to hold em. Try to get the little guy to eat from mom too :( Keep us posted on their progress. What a proud little momma. |
Thank you so much.. I know they are.. I'm keeping an eye on that little one I feed him 10 to 13 drops every hour... Do you think that's right? Now I need another advice. Mom woke up today with diarrhea, her stomach is very sensitive before whelping she was only eating dry food. but now that she has milk I gave her yesterday chicken and cheese and also I noticed she has been drinking the little tiny one left over milk. Could it be that? How can I fix it.. She is going like crazy and gets so dirty.. (Sorry) What should I do? I know the answer would be contacting my vet but he doesn't answer the phone on Sundays.. I'm afraid to give her any medicine.. |
I'm so sad... My little boy didn't make it...he didn't even have hair like the other two.. he wasn't shine like the other ones... |
So sorry for your loss, |
I just see it this way! "if he would've made it, I know it wasn't going to be a healthy yorkie".. it was too fragile. The other little ones are doing grate eating a lot Mom has milk.. Let me ask you what should I feed her, she is super hungry and doesn't want to eat dry food at all... I gave her chicken yesterday but I need to know if that's enough. What do you recommend me? |
I am sorry you lost the little male |
