| ?? Preggers showing?? Ok, I have a female at right now half way to having her pups. She is showing a LOT! Anyone have a female become huge so early?? We have had litters before and never saw this much of a diff so soon. What do you all think?? I am now keeping track of her weight as this has me worried and I will contact the vet if this continues. So??

| How much weight has she gained? Do you have any pics? My girl Emma showed very early and then the growth kind of leveled off and kept growing just not so fast and she had four healthy sized babies. She doesn't have any other symptoms such as fever or discharge?? |

| Ok, here are the photos. Her due date is Feb 18th so she has a while to go! No elevated temp and no discharge either.

| No idea how many pups yet. We have her xray set up for a week before she is due to find out - both size and how may. Our vet says ultrasounds are unreliable and as of today she is only 35 days along! So that means she has approx 28 days to go.........

As for the weight question. She has only gained 4 ounces since the start.

| I'm certianly far from an expert, but 4 ounces really isn't too much weight gain for 35 weeks. Also, if she is acting fine, eating fine and sleeping fine, I wouldn't worry about it. Call your vet & get his/her feedback, but I'll bet she's ok. Maybe it's like us humans. . . I only gained 14 pounds with my first child, 20 with my second, and 25 with my third! |

| I know cockers and yorkies are different but Juliet (my cocker) is due on Feb. 18th and I took her in for a sonogram today and we saw 5 pups. (Vet said maybe more than 5 though.) Her belly looks very similar to your dogs. Good luck!!!

| Good Luck! My female started out HUGE from the beginning. I was worried sick about her. She delivered 7 healthy babies on day 63. I never thought she would make it that far. She gained about 3-1/2-4lbs. |

| Well I called the vet. She said all is fine and to only bring her in if there is a discharge or she starts to act funny. Said to make 100% sure that we make an appt for an xray (already set up last month LOL). So I guess we are all set to go....
