Wow.. there isn't much hope of me finding an affordable yorkie in texas then :P |
Christina...I would not give up....we live in Texas and found Sailor for $700 out of the newspaper...if you keep looking you will find what you want...If you go to like a trading days, such as Canton, you can usually find them for less!!! The right one will come to you...just be patient... |
Aww thanks :D I'll be sure to keep looking! |
I see that you are new Welcome to Yorkie Talk. How-ever this posting is in the wrong forum, it more correctly belongs in either the Yorkies for Sale, or Yorkies that need re-homing. There are different rules for each forum on the selling and or re-homing of dogs. If you are breeder then go to the Yorkies for Sale Forum, read the rules for posting a for sale ad. Bye for now |
Can any one tell me how much they go for or cost in Ohio? |

(I know that most likely a posting was deleted, but, it does look funny!) Good opportunity to update prices if anyone cares to share! :animal36 |

I paid $400.00. Small female. AKC papers, breeding rights(which I will never use) and health guarantee. I live in Missouri. |
Washington from a good breeder who does health checks blood work ect. From show breeders. pet quality. $1000 -1800. IME you pay a little more for a higher chance for a healthy dog. vs paying less them a whole lot of vet bills from bad breeding. JME |
I live in Ca and I paid $450 for my girl which I think was a excellent price. She was originally $500 but we agreed on the lower price. I have seen other non AKC pet quality dogs go for around $1000 in my area. She is not AKC but that does not matter to me. I have 2 other dogs that are AKC and I never registered them. I looked for months for a puppy then I gave up for a while and immediately after I started my search again I found my girl. My girl is perfectly healthy and given a clean bill of health from my vet. |
1,200. Akc, female, breeding rights, some ch show background in her history but not tons. However my sweet lil' thing has some troubles and does not meet the show muster! Turns out I had some learning curves to ride in my journey too (ya know like just becoming a Yorkie owner in the first place, lol) and lilah is a fabulous pet quality gal. One day we will have a little show lady I do beleive and by then I will have a better handle on the ropes. :longyorkie: (Forgot to mention WA/OR dob: 12/22/12) |
NY and Pa. from a good breeder with health guarantee , you're looking at $1500. to $2000. |
