labor help?had 1 but still more its been 1 1/2hrs she wanted to go out side so took for a walk then we came back in and she went under the bed. she was pushing. so i put her over on a towel close to me and she had one baby boy at 1:30 and now it is 3 and nothing else yet. but i still feel more moving in her. i helped clean off the first and he weighs 4 oz. and she is keeping him warm. the first litter she had over a year ago they where 15 min then 1hour apart. is this normal????? |
You need to get her to the vet ASAP...more than an hour between pups is too long! |
she hasnt even pushed any more and i do not feel any there in the vagina . it is like the walk induced her enough to have the 1st early. |
Is she still contracting? Do you have a vet you can call while they are open for advice? |
no contractions. i didnt even expect her to have them for a few more days |
no panting nothing just laying there taking it easy with the baby |
i hope everything is ok. my muffie went 2 hours between with her last litter of 5. each one just popped out w no problems. that is not to say there isn't a problem here. i would take the advise of others and contact a vet. |
Again, I say get her to the vet. If you feel more moving, and she had one, and contractions have stopped, and if she were mine, I would already be in the car to the vets. |
whelping Why not see the vet before they close..then you would have an ER visit if there is a problem? She may need nothing more then a shot to get her going again and get them out. |
How is she doing? Did you call your Vet ? |
OMG!!!!! Get that girl to the Vet. ASAP!!!! You may lose the other puppies since it's been so long, and it's not going to be any better on the mom. Please.........take her in. |

sorry i had to get off the internet to call the vet... all is well he told me to give her time since she was not struggling on haveing contractions and nothing coming out.. so sure enough the first was at 1:30 then i was on pins and needles.. the next at 4:30 then at 4:50 and waiting for next.. all is welll no struggle.... out they pop when she started to push... 2 boys 1 girl so far.. two boys weing 4 oz and the girl 3 oz... doing well .. i started to worry. thanks every one pictures on the way........ |

she is a 6 lb yorkie and i bred her to a 3 lb male. same male she had her first litter with and no complications.... she hasnt had and problems so far just the long period between the first and second pup scared me... she even wanted to go out side and go poop after the first pup... she is just laying there with her pup like she has done it a million times.... these pups are smaller then her first litter. the first litter of 3 boys 1 girl all weighed 8 oz each. i called after i talked to the vet,the lady with the male stud yorkie and she also raises pups she said one time her female had the first pup then it was 5 hrs later then the rest came out.... go figure. |

about the xray.. i called the vet this morning before i even thought she would have them today. and asked him about xraying so that i would know how many. he said he does not recommend putting PepperAnn and the pups through the exposure to the exray.. so i didnt do it. and here the pups come this afternoon. no guessing on the pups she has three now and i still feel more in her. at least one more. see ya |

i am so glad everything went well. you just never know. mine was having puppies every two hours....it was a long day. my vet also did not recommend xray so i didn't know how many she would have. after #4 i thought she was done but then two hours later, i was trying to lay her down to nurse the puppies then pop here comes another. always best to call the vet CONGRATS ON THE PUPPIES AND I HOPE ALL IS WELL W THE REST OF THEM |
