Now, for "newbies" on YT. YT veterans know that I am not ashamed to announce that Baby was from a Petstore, though am not proud of where she came from. I bought her without knowing anything about dogs. It was after that I found YT and did tons of research. Backwards, I know. I'm not "proud" of my purchase, but wouldn't trade Baby for the world. I just want the people who don't know me to realize that I am posting all her info and such to just ask questions, NOT promote the petstore, breeder, or broker. Thank you. ;)

I don't recognize any names but Baby has a lot of relatives from the Hells Angels in her!

You need to get her some biker outfits!:D

I forgot to mention that I bought her on 11/22, and she was only 2.5lbs!! Now she's a whopping 10. LOL :p

She has a lot of "Bandito's" too! Does she steal things? :D :D :D

BTW....anyone know what RCW stands for?

YUP!!! She loves to steal socks! She'll go into Matt's room, and come out with a sock! :D

Okay, here it is. Not one champion. I then tried to recognized any well know kennel names. The only slim possibility is Dot's on the dam's side. But I do not think it would be any of Dorothy Gaunt's Dot's dogs since the years may be after hers. And that is it - nothing. I am so sorry. Sometimes you can find something, but most likely she was bred - you know where and looks like they have been using their own dogs for awhile. Wow, you really paid a lot of her! You could have paid that price or less from a reputable breeder and also with all that done (microchipped and up to date on all shots included) too. Baby is very lucky though to have a mommy like you!

Oh yeah, for a pet store baby, she sure does have a nice coat!!

On 11/22 her new life with you started. She started really "Living" then. You should be proud of that. She is blessed to have you in her life. May you have many happy years together.

I don't recognize anything on there either but I do know that ACA is not the most respected of registries. They are a bit too lenient for my tastes.

Im not sure..... But it gives you the truth about where your pup came from.
I think if I had bought a pup from a petstore I think would want to know.

It has a transcript of a couple USDA inspections.... The last one they have is from 2004 and it says they had 177 adult dogs, 10 weaned puppies and 49 puppies.

I didn't expect to recognize names as I haven't been involved long enough to. I do live in an area though not far from this kennel. We are in the heart of puppymill nation, I'm almost ashamed to say. Ruby came from a byb/mill that is nearby. Like you - at that time I was uneducated on the entire subject of mills and byb's.

Does Baby have any health problems you would attribute to her breeding or environment? Ruby isn't a social dog at all and I'm afraid it is due to her kennel upbringing - we didn't get her until she was 5 mos. old.

What a nasty a** place. Baby wasn't born in those time frames, but her parents were. :(

The only "problem" I would say I have with her is that she suffers from BAD separation anxiety. She incessantly licks her cage, and freaks out crying and "biting" to try and grab me to keep me from leaving. :( Other than that, she doesn't have any health problems, knock on wood. She is also a very social dog! She loves all dogs and people.

I think I might have found their email address on a guestbook that he signed!!! I wanna write him. What should I say?

That's a hard one..... Tell them what's in your heart and on your mind. This is almost like an adult who was adopted finding his "birth parents". Keep us posted :)

As far as emailing the breeder, I am not saying not to, but anybody that has 177 breeding dogs is in it for the money, so don't expect much!

LOL !! IF I still had Chanel's Biker Jacket I'd send it to Baby lol - but I already gave it away ...it was so cute though:D

To have 177 dogs, and 49 puppies, that HAS to be puppy mill, and quite poorly ran.. And they still have a license to breed on akc lists??

And ouch on your price, I could have bought 2 Venus's and still had enough leftover to have a FINE dinner for 2 and a lot of drinks somewhere! whew...ouch girl.

At least for the price, with a 10 lb baby, you got your money's worth:D Glad you love her so much!
